Tooth & Claw: True Stories of Animal Attacks

These guys are great. I’ve always loved animals and the great outdoors, watching documentaries, and going to zoos and refuges, but I have learned so much more about animals listening to this podcast! The hosts are great fun too. My friend recommended this podcast to me and I’m forever thankful.

Love these guys. One of the few podcasts that will make me consistently laugh out loud while commuting to work. Big fan of all 3 of y’all, thanks for the great times!

I used to love this show. The content, the info, and the entertainmemt of the banter was above average. But for months now, Jeff has been a massive distraction. His dissonant comments break the continuity of stories in a way that sucks the joy from the podcast. Totally inappropriate political jokes, obtusely offensive random comments, deliberately unfactual things requiring disclaimers or immediate disqualification, and often simply vacuous filler remarks are bringing the show down. It need not be this way as Jeff has a cute sense of humor when not lost like he seems to be now. He admits he is unable to converse without inserting conspiracy comments lately. And then, “I shouted out the gays?” Get some help, please. And Jeff is not alone, this episode had multiple Subway Jared jokes? Is child moleststion funny as an example of predation? Is this at minimum a dated reference? But really, pedo jokes? That said, the other issue is the sexual innuendo can get old and makes the show sophomoric while posing as academic. I agree with the crtiques about sexism as well. If the show reduces the cognitive dissonance it is a top podcast, but there has been far too much of dark Jeff lately, and too many blue distractions amidst the green. But reading the reviews over the past year indicates that there is zero effort to address legit criticism. Other than the semi-apology about the paywall, they do not respond to issues which need to be addressed.

Late to the party with this podcast but so glad I found it! Hilarious, entertaining, and informative! Thoroughly enjoy hanging out with you guys on my drive to work.
