    Waiting On God

SOAR 🦅 Life can be exhausting. There are days when you feel like you’re carrying more than you were meant to carry. The pressure, the waiting, the unanswered prayers, the responsibilities—it all adds up. In those moments, it’s easy to rely on your own strength. But eventually, even the strongest among us grow tired. That’s why Isaiah 40:31 is such a beautiful promise. God doesn’t ask us to push harder. He invites us to draw closer. When we spend time with Him, something changes. Our perspective shifts. Our hearts become lighter. Our strength is renewed. We begin to realize that we were never meant to do life alone. In this episode of Quality Time, we’ll slow down and reflect on what it means to wait on the Lord and discover how God helps us rise above the things that try to weigh us down. Scripture “But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” — Isaiah 40:31 Things to Think About • What has been weighing heavily on my heart lately? • Have I been spending more time worrying about my situation than bringing it to God? • What would it look like for me to trust God with the things I cannot control? • Where have I seen God’s faithfulness in my life before? Scriptures to Read and Pray Through Isaiah 40:31 – God renews the strength of those who wait on Him. Psalm 27:14 – “Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.” Matthew 11:28 – “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Philippians 4:6-7 – Bring everything to God in prayer and receive His peace. Lamentations 3:22-23 – His mercies are new every morning. Prayer Father, thank You for being my source of strength. When I feel tired, remind me that I can come to You. Help me trust You in the waiting and rest in Your presence. Renew my heart, strengthen my faith, and help me keep my eyes fixed on You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
