I as a mother of multiple LGBQT+ children really appreciate the different experiences you offer with interviews and your own thoughts. I am thankful for all the hard work and time spent and the love you put into this podcast. It is well worth it. I loved both your books and have shared them and told people where to find them. I am not perfect and I struggle emotionally, but I am trying so hard to be the safe place.
This podcast is a gift to humanity! While it addresses many LGBTQ+ topics at its heart this is a podcast about living a Christ centered life. I’m straight and don’t have the same specific struggles as Ben and Charlie but I always feel so uplifted and inspired by their true devotion to living the teachings of Jesus Christ! This podcast inspires me to be a better person in every way! Absolutely LOVE it this podcast!!!
Effective Discussion About Specific Topics
Listening to this podcast has been incredibly helpful for me to think about individual ideas surrounding LGBTQ members of the LDS church. Hearing an entire episode devoted to a given aspect allows depth to the discussion. Not only has this given me the courage to come out myself, it also has helped me be more considerate of how others may feel, which I believe to be very Christlike.
Not shying away from the discomfort of a given subject is how I imagine Jesus would operate if He were to have a frank conversation with me, and I feel that kind of confidence in hearing this podcast and its ability to address the complicated questions.
