Like a warm blanket

Two of my children have come out as members of the LGBTQ+ community during the last 18 months, and I have had so many questions and some concerns. My kids talk to me, but what this podcast has done for me is exactly what Ben & Charlie say they want…give me another perspective. It always gives me something to ponder, and frequently brings me so much comfort. I’d give it 6 stars if I could!

Fostering a relationship with God

I loved this episode and listening to Tami. She is so open. I never thought of having a secure attachment to God. I studied child development and learned a lot about how damaging it can be when children don’t have a secure attachment to their caregiver when very young. Now I can look at God as a being who loves me and that I can have a secure attachment to him through studying the scriptures and praying. It was neat to hear Tami talk about how her relationship with God has changed from this knowledge. I have a lot to work on and pray about to get there. I love your show and listen every week. It has taught me how important it is for me to be an ally for LGBTQ people.
