    New Changes To The 2B Exam, More PA Drama and What Does It Take To Get An Entire Radiology Department Fired?

    Update as per 01/09/24: we have been contacted by the Chair of the FRCR 2B who has kindly given us some further information (thank you for reaching out). The proposed changes to the rapids will unlikely be before June 2025. Also, the option to "bank" passes in individual components of the 2B will not be going ahead. Welcome to our second video podcast (or is it vidpod or podvid?), In this episode, we share with you insider, not-so-secret info about the new changes to the FRCR 2B exam. We'll also give our thoughts on the highly contentious topic that is Physician Associates aka theywhoshallnotbenamed. We discuss his enthusiasm for medical education and how this takes him all over the world delivering lectures on the global conference circuit. We also take a slight detour from our usual theme to discuss Salman's newfound passion for walking, which has sparked a lifestyle and body transformation that he hopes to share with the world through social media.

    Advocating for Doctors: The PA Debate, Running for RCR President and more with Dr David Little

    This month we speak to Dr David Little who is a Consultant Radiologist and Head of School of Severn Radiology. We delve into the MAP debate and discuss the open letter he wrote to the RCR about PA regulation in October which gained over 1200 signatures. He also tells us what it was like running for RCR President in 2002 and we get his perspective on Radiology recruitment as a member of the RCR recruitment subcommittee including his strong views on the MSRA and top tips for anyone applying this year.
