Radical Learning Talks

Radical Learning Talks is a podcast about what becomes possible when we question what we’ve been taught about children, learning, education, parenting, and power. Hosted by educators Sari González and Rebecka Koritz, the podcast explores homeschooling and unschooling, self-directed learning, deschooling, relationships, consent, adultism, youth agency, and the assumptions that shape how adults live and learn alongside young people. Some conversations begin with the everyday questions parents wrestle with: Is my child learning enough? What do I do when we’re constantly in conflict? How much should I intervene? Can I really trust my child? Others take us into much bigger questions about school, education, power, freedom, community, and the kind of world we’re preparing young people to live in. Sari and Becka are educators, parents, and longtime voices in the self-directed education movement. Their work sits at the intersection of learning, parenting, relationships, power, and community, drawing on decades of experience with unschooling, alternative education, and supporting families who are choosing different ways of learning and living together. Radical Learning Talks isn’t about offering one right way to do things. It’s a place to question what we’ve inherited, look more closely at what’s actually happening, and imagine different possibilities for learning and living together.
