    17. Don’t Believe Your Tired Thoughts (How Energy Levels Affect Our Reality)

    There’s a side of us that comes out only when we’re exhausted: physically, mentally, emotionally drained, overstimulated, overwhelmed. This side of us can be mean, self-critical, anxious, paralyzed with fear, angry, feeling helpless or hopeless about where the world (of your life) is going. No matter what this side of you looks like (and sounds like in your head), it’s always driven by the same thing: low energy. And the key to quieting these negative thoughts and breaking the pattern of emotional spirals is to switch focus to your energy in these moments. In this episode, I talk about how to do that in a simple 3-step process. How to notice when your thoughts are lying to you, how to stop engaging with your negative thought patterns, and how to effectively turn them off - and bring yourself back to your normal baseline.
