    RWL_FLASHBACK FRIDAY #006

Big shout out to the Arizona Self Storage Association from RadioWilderLive.com! You guys crushed it at the annual Tradeshow last week! Top notch work, Amy, Ray, Anne, Korey, and the whole crew.

Ready to heat things up? It's almost the longest day of the year (June 20th, mark your calendars!) and we've got the tunes to match. This week, Captain Dave dives deep into the Radio Wilder vault for his take on summer solstice!

Haddaway's gonna make you wonder "What is Love?" (Just like Will Ferrell in that hilarious movie, right?). For our Deuces Wild segment, we're taking a trip down memory lane with The Tams and Bill Deal & The Rhondels asking "What Kind of Fool Do You Think I Am?" Lucinda Williams helps us banish the bad vibes with "Let's Pray The Devil Back To Hell." Journey's "Wheel in the Sky" takes us on a soaring ride, followed by everyone's favorite self-storage soundtrack - Imagine Dragons' "Whatever It Takes."

Harry's friend, the very talented Bernie Mora, owner of the legendary Chicos Tacos, throws down some serious "Blue Moon Funk!" And to round it out, a classic playlist with "Once Bitten, Twice Shy," "Rollover DJ," and of course, Mr. Hendrix himself with "All Along the Watchtower."

Tune in starting Thursday. Our fearless leader (the executive producer) should have us back up and running by then.

    Thanks for rocking with RadioWilderLive.com!

    RWL_FLASHBACK FRIDAY #004

Hey Wilder fans! It’s your eclectic DJ, spinning the wheel of musical fortune. As I'm playing "The Last DJ" by Tom Petty, I'm reminded that I guess I'm not the last DJ but I am your DJ.

After over 6 years and 300 shows, we are free to play exactly what we want when we want. Here at RadioWilderLive.com, we’re not shackled by charts or confined by accountants. We’re riding the airwaves of liberty, thanks to the internet’s magic and our fantastic fans from over 120 countries.

This week’s Flashback Friday is revving up with “Scheduled for Production,” a nod to auto production, not musical melodies. But fear not, our playlist is a towering jukebox of new, vintage, and downright delicious rock sounds that’ll get you dancing, romancing, or just chilling.

As I curate this post, I’m plugged into the electric riffs of ‘Rollin 7’s’ by Dirty Honey. And who’s that taking the stage? It’s Def Leppard with ‘Rocks Off,’ a double-barreled blast of rock glory in my ears!

The Deuces are Wild today, with the Beatles and Smithereens stirring the pot. And here comes Coldplay with "Orphans," a tune that’ll tug at your heartstrings.

The musical parade doesn’t stop there; we’ve got LA Guns, Hawaii Mud Bombers, the queen Aretha, Little River, Indigo Girls, and so much more!

Big shoutouts to The Inside Self Storage crew for an event that was larger than life, bustling with energy and action. Teri, Amy, Debbie, and all the ISS stars – you rocked it!

From one of the 250+ vendors, a massive thank you for making it all happen.

Stay tuned, stay wild, and keep rockin’ with RadioWilder!

    RWL_FLASHBACK FRIDAY #003

This week at RadioWilderLive.com, we're cranking the time machine back to a show that left us stunned and rocking – the one where we WON GOLD for our weekly Rock N' Roll podcast! Not one, but TWO awards! We snagged a GOLD BAR for a killer episode featuring the one and only "White House Doctor," Dr. Connie Mariano! Huge thanks to Hamm's for being among the first to fuel our podcast fire (because what goes better with chili than beer? Exactly!), and a shoutout to Wolf Brand Chili for keeping the party warm.

️This week's playlist was a wild ride, thanks to a killer request from Cheryl Lee! Captain Dave had us pondering with his question of the day: "Is it me or have you decided to go out of your house without your pants on?” We jammed to the best of Boomtown Rats, The Caper Clowns, Chris Montez, Candi Staton, Willie Nile, Chris Farlowe, and Prince – a lineup guaranteed to get your head bobbing.

Speaking of rocking out, a big shoutout to The Inside Self Storage World Expo happening right now at Caesar's Forum in Las Vegas! Check them out at https://lnkd.in/gbPm7s8t.

Thanks as always for listening, Wilder Nation! We'll keep the good times (and the awards!) rolling.

    RWL_FLASHBACK FRIDAY #002

It all started with a cherry-red glint in the corner of my eye, a beacon of freedom on two wheels. At 14, in the heart of El Paso’s Upper Valley, I stumbled upon a treasure - a red Allstate scooter, tagged at $125.00, whispering tales of the open road.

For days, I gazed longingly, until courage took the wheel. The owner, a college-bound chap, agreed to a secret deal. My piggy bank bled $90.00, but dreams are worth every penny. And soon, with $125 in hand, the scooter and I were one.

We zipped through backstreets, fueled by youthful rebellion. My first taste of independence? A daring dash for gas, venturing beyond the familiar lanes. For two glorious years, that scooter was my wings, my covert companion in crime.

That little red ride revved up a lifelong love affair with all things fast and furious. From 65 cars to a fleet of motorcycles, I've had a mid-life crisis ever since.

And now, Capt’n Dave is here to fuel your Friday with a rock ‘n’ roll odyssey! We’re kickstarting the journey with Pearl Jam’s electric anthems, cruising through ‘The Kid with the Butterfly Net’, and Cake’s defiant ‘I Will Survive’. Jerry Butler’s soulful serenade joins the mix, while Jesse Malin and Lucinda Williams bring ‘Dead On’ to life.

Don't miss our ‘California Dreaming’ cover in the Deuces are Wilder segment. So buckle up, tune in, and let The Internet Radio Man take you on a wilder ride than ever before.

A special shout-out to the Inside Self Storage crew - Vegas awaits your grand showcase next week! Thanks for tuning in, and remember, when the rubber meets the road, RadioWilderLive.com is there to crank up the volume!
