Comfort in knowing
As a middle-aged (as if we really know what our middle is going to be)I greatly enjoy the thoughtfulCreations that make their way to the airwaves via this podcast. It provides comfort in knowing if there are those decades younger than me asking lots of questions and seeking their own definition of the mysteries they encounter.
I’m still asking questions, still living mysteries and I hope you will be too, when you are my age and much much older.
When curiosity and compassion move together, it’s a beautiful dance.
These podcasts are soooo good!
I’ve been listening to Radioactive for almost a year now and I love it! The stories that the teen reporters research, write, and record are so real, so touching, compassionate, and thoughtful. Some are better than the podcasts I’ve listened to that are made by adults. Great work, everyone!
Stellar Storytelling
KUOW is the only public radio station in the U.S. with an award winning program like RadioActive! which PAYS TEENAGERS to learn how to make radio (!!!) This station clearly has a commitment to the next generation of radio & podcast listeners, and by the sound of their stories, you already know quality storytelling is a bedrock principal instilled within each student. Bravo, KUOW and the team leading audio storytelling teens! Put these stories in your ears and remember the author’s names.
