    Episode 18 - Graeme Wallace of Hogback Distillery

    On Episode 18 of Raise a Glass I sit down with Graeme Wallace, a native of Scotland who has written about whisky for 20 years and currently owns Hogback Distillery in Boulder, Colorado.   Graeme intends to create the best single malt whiskey in the U.S. by uniting "Scottish and American traditions in harmony."   While his single malts mature peacefully in oak casks, he has been developing his skills as a blender by sourcing various American Bourbons and Ryes and blending and maturing them in a range of unique wood finishes.  In one week his first single malt release will be out in local retail stores who covet craft distillates so keep an eye out!

    Episode 15 - Rachel MacNeill of Islay Whisky Academy and Whisky Affinity

    I sit down with the lovely, inspiring Rachel MacNeill to chat about one of my favourite topics in the universe:  Islay whisky.   Rachel shares stories from her time growing up on Islay, her impressions of numerous Scotch whiskies, and exciting information on an upcoming online whisky course she is launching soon that focuses not only on whisky but on Gaelic/Celtic consciousness.  I have always revered whisky as a magical, transformative sacrament that unites likeminded beings and Rachel is most definitely a kindred spirit.

Robert, raising a glass to you- thank you for sharing this with us

@GlenmoDan ,

A thoughtful interviewer and a great podcast!

Robert puts a lot of prep work into each episode and it shows. He’s a thoughtful and insightful interviewer and he lends his years of experience in many facets of the spirits industry to the process of shaping the content and focus of his podcast. Highly Recommended!

Robert serves up a stew of frothy expectations

This is no holds barred journalism that you’d expect from a man long accustomed to singing for his supper, but in a way that teaches instead of costs. I must say that having appeared in the show it makes me biased but if you know my book, cannabis Cocktails Mocktails and tonics you’d be cheering on Robert for having me on his show. He’s that good. Throw a cup of mezcal on a dirt floor and awaken the spirits. Or smoke a few bong hits. It’s up to you. Just listen and smile. And learn.
