This podcast has been a hidden gem in the sea of podcasts out there. Dr. Banks’ thoughtful analysis and ability to make the topics of race, parenting, mental health and discrimination accessible and understandable is second to none. Since listening to her podcast I have had the chance to hear her speak in person at my company on a similar topic and she did not disappoint. Thank you!

So grateful for this podcast. I’m learning so much and feeling more prepared to have vital conversations with my two young children about marginalized people and the systems that created and keep them there. These conversations are helping me be more aware of my own privilege and how I can leverage it to help break these cycles. Thank you for this work and making it available to the world.

Thank you for producing such a helpful show. I have shared this with my white friends as it is easier to listen to and to consider the importance of all the issues raised than some other podcasts which tend to isolate the listener, who then walks away with negativity to share. I agree with you that we must find our way back to learning to speak to one another and to being able to disagree without ending relationships.
