We break down how we all do things differently: • Trin and Lace brand their calves young with a full crew — ropers, ground crew, branding, shots, castrating, and any doctoring that needs done. • Brea only brands her replacement heifers as yearlings, but her operation runs a big fall roundup to process calves, give shots, castrate, and tag anything that got missed. Lace also shares the official Dirks branding tradition… there’s always rain.
