    #9 Embodying “The Woman”

    There is a huge difference between equal, as in equally valuable, and the same, as in given the same opportunity to do/achieve/learn anything. Men and women, here in Quebec anyway, are given the same opportunity to  do/achieve/learn anything their heart desires. The problem is that it comes with a price tag. What do you need to put to the side in order to succeed in this world that is mainly constituted of masculine values and ways of operating?

    #6 The Fear of Being Wrong or Bad 

    The fear of being wrong or bad  This one is a big one for me. Not so long ago, my biggest fear was to be made wrong or bad.  Striving to be “good person” or a “good girl” is exactly what made me easily manipulatable. No light can truly shine through you without the full integration of your shadow.  Shadow work is my absolute favourite part of inner work.  Bringing to the light, loving and accepting all parts of myself and others.  I used to apply a distorted version of this teaching in my life where I would excuse and tolerate poor behaviour or even abusive behaviour in the name of always seeing things positively and seeing the good in people.  I got a sense of superiority from it, in being the “reasonable one” You can have infinite love and acceptance for someone and still be a no to their behaviour.  You can have infinite love and acceptance of all parts of you and still desire to expand and practice being the highest version of yourself.  Really, it’s all about your intention. With love, empathy, understanding and practice, you will stumble and fall and get back up again.

Total contentement of how the pose is, how it feels, how it doesn’t feel.. ALSO, kind of unsatisfied, growing out like a tree, growing outwards, towards the light, continually growing. Totally content and at the same time totally unsatisfied, but in a good way.

    Welcome! My name is Raphaëlle! I am here to guide those who are on the path to creating a life in which they are the best version of themselves. I did lots of sports when I was younger and I was completely immersed in my work as a real estate agent before having children. Then I flipped my world upside down as I started on my healing journey. My old life slowly came apart and things unfolded beautifully.  These days, I am interested in conscious parenting, child development, relationships, yoga and spirituality, psychology and personal growth. I enjoy deep conversations. I have always loved reading and writing. I feel at my best and most inspired when I am outside, in nature. I love to learn.  I am an intense and passionate person, I like to get to the bottom of things. I have lived a good part of my life devoid of emotions, focused on performance, perfectionism and productivity. Now I am mostly about openness, vulnerability and full permission for all emotions and the entire spectrum of human experiences. Less doing, more being, more creativity, more alignment and more fun, married, at home with two kids, a 5 year-old boy and a 1 year-old girl.
