Rare But Real

Young women have been growing up with an indoctrination of what womanhood is and what it should be. They've been taught everything that is in direct opposition to the Word of God. Young women who want to be different from the world are rare but they are real. " Verse 10 says : "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding."     The Woman Who Builds

    Proverbs 24:3–4 states this: "By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; and by knowledge, the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches." God is so kind to trust women to build homes whose rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches. As we build our homes, we are strengthening the country, and we have a major influence in the world. When we do this, we are bringing honor to the Lord.     The Hand That Rocks the Cradle

    The poem "The Hand that Rocks the Cradle is the Hand that Rules the World" was written in 1865 and although the phrase remains, the poem has long faded from memory. As you listen to this week's podcast, you will hear a lot from the book of Proverbs, you will hear the poem, and by God's grace, you will be renewed in your heart about what it means to walk with God moment by moment doing the things God has called you to do.     Workers at Home

    Working in the home matters. Being there for your people - making a house a home matters. All throughout the Scripture, we see how God created women to be keepers of the home in a very special way.  Then specifically in Titus chapter 2, when the Lord is giving a curriculum list of what the older women are to teach the younger women, one of those is to be "a worker at home. " This week on the podcast, we're going to explore that phrase and even talk about how it has become so controversial in our day.     Rest For Our Souls

    Jesus gave an invitation in Matthew's gospel:   “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” That invitation still stands for us today. On this week's podcast, we get glimpse of some people in the New Testament and how Jesus taught them to rest even when they were disappointed in life, even when their circumstances overwhelmed them, and even when they were distracted and flustered.
