a real-deal reading podcast
Reading Glasses has quickly become one of my favorite podcasts. When I first heard the promos, I was skeptical that they would have enough new material to keep the podcast going, but boy was I wrong. The hosts are funny and kind, and they each have so much to share in terms of their backgrounds (both are writers) and their reading (both read widely, but Mallory collects books and loves horror while Brea is predominantly an e-reader and library user who loves sci fi). The show is done in segments so that the guest interviews are their own feature. (I personally really like this, so that I can enjoy the Mallory/Brea vibe). They discuss everything- how to find books you’ll enjoy, how to support writers you admire, book events, book stores. Give it a try if you like reading, or want to hang out with people who do.
Love love LOVE this podcast
I love Reading Glasses so much! Mallory and Brea foster a love for reading that is contagious. The Reading Glasses community is wonderful as well. I had a question on a book recommendation that I posted on the FB page and got so many thoughtful responses. This is my favorite podcast- a must for any book lover. Keep up the good work ladies!
