BBQ Time - We take a look at some of the RSB Hoodies as the cold season rolls in.  Yes we still got our merch available, just not on the website at this time.  DC tells us about his practice turkey he cooked on the Pit Boss pellet smoker.  Not bad at all for his first try.  I remind the guys that GW BBQ has a new location in Edinburg and now they have chicken friend ribs.  George is always full of surprises.  Hiram tells us about his night out at a fancy steakhouse, Maestros. We'll have to take his word for it.

We look at another viral TikTok post that list almost 30 places a girls says are not suitable for a first date.  Some of them we definitely agreed with and some we thought were perfectly fine. BBQ Time - Jaime and I make a trip to see the Longhorns in Austin.  Thought we didn't get to hit any barbecue spots, Jaime has a review about the food offerings at the Longhorns stadium.  We get pretty beat up by the mid-day sun and don't feel up to going out on the town on Halloween weekend.  I talk some barbecue as I cook up some tenderloin filets for my ride or die Beethoven's birthday.  The Pawty continues as we take it into the night grilling up some fajitas, chicken and jalapeno sausage poppers.  I talk about our upcoming cookoff in Edinburg at the South Texas Smokefest where we will attempt to defend our Reserve Grand Champion call from last year.

We are back as Jaime, Johnny and myself are joined by our childhood friend DC visiting from corpus.   DC is taken back by all the changes in the RGV.  He talks about all the changes from his last visit and noticeably all the cookoffs. We keep an eye on the baseball playoffs as the Texas series between the Astros and Rangers is currently going on.

BBQ Time - DC tells us about cooking on his Pit Boss.  As none of us really cook on pellet grills he tells us about some of the meats he's been cooking on the pit and even meat loaf.  He wants to try a Thanksgiving turkey this year.  We give him a quick run down of our trip to Kansas City and talk about our upcoming trip to Dallas for the World Steak Championship.  Jaime wants to know what barbecue places are popular in Corpus Christi and turn out it's more popular for seafood.  We ask him about his time working at steakhouses and if he knows the term Medium Plus.  Jaime and DC share war stories about working at Whataburger.  DC tells us about other restaurants that he has worked at.

We are back with the skeleton crew of myself, Jaime and Hiram in Los Angeles.  We start off by talking about the Colorado hype train going off the rails as they blow a 29 point lead this past weekend.  We then turn right into the NFL and of course Taylor Swift remains the lead for over the past month.  We talk about the power of the swifties and the impact she has on everything she touches.  I ask the guys if they would rather have the Josh Allen drink or the Tapeworm shot.  You'll have to tune in to find out.  I ask if they guys are into the fries and milkshake thing.  I've never tried and wanted to know what the big deal was.

BBQ Time - I go back to Wild in Willacy in Raymondville where we won our first Grand Championship in competitive barbecue.  I think we might have had a chance to bring another one home.  I tell you all about the festivities they had at this event.  I get some wings from my friends at Wing Champs in Raymondville.  I try out an experiment I've been wanting to try as I made some beef short rib sliders on the smoker.  We go from talking about bone-in wings to bone in steaks and if people are still ordering them.  We then talk about ordering steaks and Hiram tells us about a new term we haven't heard before called Medium Plus.   Nick sends us a video about baking a steak in a salt crust.  Guess we have to try it.  We end the barbecue talk with some chicken Joe tips.

Hiram tells us about the latest going on in Hollywood.  RIP Suzanne Somers.  That snowballs into hot girls celebrities from our childhood.  We then talk about the joke of the Logan Paul fight that happened on the weekend although we don't think anyone watched.

We are back with a full banana boat as I am joined by the Queen of BBQ, Alma as well as Johnny Deep and as always Jaime and Hiram from LA.  We start by talking about some high school football for some reason as johnny races to the RSB studios from a high school game.  We then get into the Cowboys and Niners game as we give Hiram a few minutes to gloat.  I ask Alma is Taylor Swift is bigger than the NFL.  I ask the crew if they know what they term dipping means.

BBQ Time - We are fresh (more or less) from our cook at the American Royal. We got beat worse than the Cowboys. Johnny, Alma and I give a recap of the road trip from hell as well as the entire weekend as a whole.  We didn't do so great but we ran into some cool barbecue people and made the most of this adventure.  We break down our cooks for both days and talk about what we would do different if we ever are crazy enough to give it another go.  Alma and Johnny are down to try it again one day while I think staying in Texas to compete in some major cookoffs is the way to go for me.

Hiram tells us about his first hockey game experience and how he's coming off a battle with covid.  He thinks he got sick at his Big Bear adventure.  We circle back to football to continue to talk about the Dallas Cowboys and how depressed Jaime is about it.  We don't get off the hook easy as Hiram reminds us that the Texas Longhorns also suffered a bad beat from their stupid rival Oklahoma Sooners.
