This was a fantastic discussion between 2 smart people. I loved the scope of it from possible MMT, to current Fed policy, to what Powell, Brainard, Mester, Bernanke are like and discussions they had behind the scenes.

Independent and goes both ways

They are not permanently bearish and permanently bullish. They buy and sell simultaneously and consider gradients of likelihoods. Some investors and play slings have a hard time mentally reconciling that. I certainly do, but I am practicing the humility to let the market and not my ego guide.
