A hockey podcast from two women who care about the Toronto Maple Leafs a totally normal amount.

S05E20: A Certain Standard of Living
lmao y’all I don’t even know anymore
Join us as we discuss Brendan Shanahan’s hurt feelings, have a wee cackle over Jack Eichel winning a cup before McDavid, and conduct a mini anthropological study of NHLer weddings. -
S05E19: Birthing the Stanley Cup
Part 1. A measured response on the Toronto Maple Leafs and group therapy session
Part 2. lmao lol welp
Digressions include: booktok & Tyler Seguin (again), biological clocks, and the Leafs’ potentially (?) killing someone’s grandmother. -
S05E18: No Soap Operas, Just Greek Myths
It’s important to celebrate the victories in life, especially if the victory is avoiding a second-round sweep.
Join your hosts as they break down the first four games of Round 2 vs the Florida Panthers. Sure we know what happened, but it’s important to remember the good (and delusion). Enemies are declared, friendships are ended, and for a bit of fun, hockeys are paired with some classic Greek Myths. -
Matthew Knies Reputation Era
Y’all they finally did it. Is there anything else to say?
Join your hosts as they celebrate the Leafs’ first playoff series WIN in 19 years (!!!) and put some teams into some situations, inspired by Helen & Liz beginning Yellowjackets. -
S05E16: Narrative
It’s playoffs baby and we at RGP are embracing the power of narrative.
Join your hosts as we break down the first 3 games of Leafs v Lightning, ponder what life as a Tavares adoptee would be like, and Helen admits the funniest reason to miss a goal ever recorded. -
S05E13: William's Empty Nest
Liz: I just think the 1st round pick for Sandin is going to come back into play!
Narrator: The pick did not come back into play.
Join Liz and Producer Emily as they discuss the Leafs’ trade deadline moves, try to determine who Tanner Jeannot even is, and ask why Dubas insists on empty-nesting Nylander.

Necessary
This pod brings me so much joy and laughter but also necessary conversations. I don’t even want to admit how many times I go back and listen to each episode, and I’ve gone back to the beginning to listen to every episode as well. So, so good and necessary in my life!
I spend all my free time telling all my friends about Real Gud Pros and about how they should listen
This podcast turned me on to the importance of dad energy and mullets, and at this point I can’t go back. When ‘Elliotte Friedman’ is brave enough to tell me about his sleep paralysis demon I might reconsider my position.
Best hockey podcast
There are a bunch of hockey podcasts out there, but this one is something a lot of them aren’t: fun.
