Real Wisdom, Artificial Intelligence

Gaurav Vaid

Daily Doses of RASHMI is a short daily podcast (3–7 min) for founders, leaders, builders, and thoughtful humans navigating complexity in the AI era. Each episode offers a pause to reflect, reframe, and respond with clarity. Grounded in the Wisdom Hierarchy—Knowledge → Intelligence → Wisdom—these reflections help build self-awareness, clearer decisions, and wiser leadership. No advice. No noise. Just a space to think clearly. In the age of AI, speed is abundant. Clarity is rare. AI gives speed. Humans need clarity. The secret ingredient is YOU.

The Secret Ingredient Is the Integrated YOU

Today's conversation starts with a familiar RASHMI idea — The Secret Ingredient Is YOU — but Morgane takes it somewhere genuinely new. Until now, much of the idea has been about difference between humans: Every person brings a distinctive integration of experiences, capabilities, energy, imagination and ways of perceiving. Today introduces another dimension: The same YOU is different at different moments. That sounds simple, but organizationally it is profound. Organizations largely operate on an implicit assumption: Human capacity should be approximately constant. Monday at 10:00 AM, Wednesday at 3:00 PM, Friday morning — the employee occupying a role is expected to produce reasonably predictable capacity. Machines are designed that way. Humans aren't. Morgane's wave metaphor captures this beautifully. We have variations in: energy, attention, emotion, creativity, social capacity, physical capacity, intuition, need for solitude or connection. So perhaps today's breakthrough is: An Integrated Intelligence Organization must integrate not only differences between people, but differences within the same person across time. I think that's genuinely new in your architecture. I wouldn't make it a formal framework yet, but it's worth noticing. You've spent considerable time developing collective integration: YOU + YOU + YOU + AI Today's conversation introduces: YOU(t₁) ≠ YOU(t₂) ≠ YOU(t₃) The organization isn't integrating static resources. It's integrating dynamic humans. That's much closer to reality. And suddenly your WLOM Capacity dimension becomes much more interesting. Capacity isn't: What is Gaurav capable of? It is: What does Gaurav genuinely have capacity to carry now? Those are completely different questions. Yesterday we sharpened: Willingness is not doing only what you enjoy. It is consciously taking responsibility for what you choose to serve. Today adds an important distinction: Willingness and Capacity are not the same thing.

Beyond Likes and Dislikes: Unlock What You Truly Care For

I think today's Dose does something more significant than simply extend yesterday's discussion of identity. It clarifies a word that has been central to WLOM for a long time: Care is not the same as preference. That sounds simple, but it has consequences for the individual, RASHMI Mirror, product design, social media, entrepreneurship, and Green Intelligence. Yesterday we arrived at: Thoughts and emotions are signals, not commands. Today's natural extension is: Likes and dislikes are signals, not measures of what truly matters. I can like something without deeply caring for it. I can care deeply about something I don't particularly like doing. A parent may not like getting up at 3 a.m. with a sick child. A founder may not like delivering difficult feedback. A citizen may not like confronting an uncomfortable problem. And, exactly as the Sadhguru quote points toward, genuinely caring about something may sometimes require doing something unpopular. So perhaps the distinction is: Preference asks: What feels good to me? Approval asks: What will feel good to others? Care asks: What genuinely matters here? That is a meaningful sharpening of WLOM. This connection is particularly strong. Yesterday: Honor your individuality without becoming imprisoned by your identity. Today: Once I hold identity more lightly, I can also hold its likes and dislikes more lightly. Likes and dislikes are signals. Care sits deeper. And yesterday's Growth Mindset++ is the mechanism that makes Care possible
