    Series 1, Ep. 11 "Gosh, you're such a cop."

    All Arian could do was forgive his parents for lying to him—because truthfully, he was more than a little grateful that Kel and Cat raised him as opposed to the alternative of his biological parents—warn them about Brian’s attack, and continue living until the day arrived that his dream to came true. Clearly, Aleese understood the assignment because she not only made sure he made it through his infamously dreaded birthday, but that he enjoyed it too. It literally was the best birthday he’d ever had, and Paxon and Sav had something to do with that as well. Could he take that to mean that his luck had shifted? Would 21 be the year he finally killed his father?

    Series 1, Ep. 10: "Time for me to be a meddling sister."

    Every time that Paxon proves to be a true asset to their “Kill-the-Dark-Lord-and-save-the-world” mission, Aleese’s irritation grows. She despises everything about him, no matter how smart and attractive he is. Or at least that what she was telling herself. She and her brother were doing just fine before he came along. Or at least she'd like to think so. Arian, however, was thankful for his help, especially considering the Dark Lord seemed to be three steps ahead of them at every turn, even with his premonitory dreams. That proves to be the case, yet again, when he dreams that his mother’s life is threatened by Brian. His dreams have always come true, so what can he do?

    Series 1, Ep. 9: "A lot Can Change in a Day."

    They failed in saving Brian as the Dark Lord escaped with him before Arian could grab him, but he and Aleese succeeded in doing something no other sorcerer or human who went up against their father had—they survived, but at what cost? One thing that fighting the Dark Lord taught Arian is that he and his sister couldn’t defeat him alone. They needed help, even though Aleese wanted no parts. Would Officer Paxon be the key to killing their father or was it simply an impossible feat?

    Series 1, Ep. 8: "We're not the ones running and hiding."

    Father and son meet for the first time in almost 21 years; best friends quickly become foes when in a quest for vengeance, Brian joins the Dark Lord’s tyranny and discovers that Arian is the one who killed his dad six years ago. Arian, consumed with conflicting emotions, needs to find a way to reach Brian and kill the evil sorcerer responsible for it all. Can he do it, or is Brian a lost cause?

    Whew! As if Arian hasn't received enough bad news in the last few weeks, the Dark Lord is his father?! As harrowing as that news is, something good did come from learning more about himself--Aleese is not just his friend but also his sister! Discovering that the most powerful murderer in all the worlds is their father has not stopped their agenda to kill him; they just have to find him first. But how?

Well, now he's on a quest to find his birthmother and get some answers about his life. A life he believes is crumbling around him as more information is dumped on him. Will he finally get some good news from the woman that gave him up? And what about his birthfather?

    They survived another fight to the death, but it was a little too close for comfort for Arian and Aleese. So, they vowed to get stronger, be better, protect the dark sorcerers who for so long have been afraid to return to the Dark Domain. In doing so, Arian and Aleese learn things about themselves that they aren't altogether pleased with, for instance: Arian is adopted! How will he react? What does it mean?

So, how do they draw him out?

    In this first episode of Series 1, my guests and I read the first two chapters of my unpublished book, Three Worlds, Part One: The Magic Thief--a  book full of magic, mystical creatures, an insanely powerful and murderous sociopath, and unlikely friendships between a head strong human who's certain he's destined for heroism and a self-reliant sorcerer who is inwardly unsure of herself and her powers. Together these two discover other worlds, defend those worlds against a dark force hellbent on stealing the dark magic from every powerful sorcerer, and uncover things about themselves they didn't even know were buried. Let's meet these characters!
