Nevertheless. courageous Christians throughout Turkey are turning to Christ through house churches all over the country. This is exciting!

THE LURE OF POWER - 5:1:24, 6.27 PM
As I read through God’s timeless Word through the biblical Scriptures, I am reminded over and over that through all our modern technology-nothing has changed in that people are people and sin is sin. And this more often than not comes with the sinful, human desire to control other human beings and amass wealth beyond what they can use, spend or take with them into the presence of God.
Today, I am going to show you through 1 Kings 1, the degree to which even biblical characters went through to amass authority, control, power, and wealth. In the end, as I just stated, nothing has changed in thousands of years. When we and all leaders fail to live according to God’s ways, moral ethical values, and his basic laws, sin abounds, people get hurt, societies deteriorate, and God is not honored. The good news is that mankind is always sinning but always allows for U-Turns back to Him! Let’s get started by looking at the Book of 1 Kings.

Business is about the numbers but character is about success. And success is all about how you get to those numbers, right or wrong. Today, I am going to show you that while numbers are necessary for running a sales organization, or any organization for that matter, including our family budget and personal lives-the lack of good character in achieving those numbers is false success. It also leads to a heartless soul organizationally and personally speaking through wrongly, ill-gained profit. On the other hand, godly character leads to God-dependent success. That success must be coupled with our obedience to work hard, smart and morally-ethical!

If you want insight into the ultra conservative mindset, this is the podcast for you: fear-based, bigoted messaging cloaked in Christianity and wrapped in the flag.
Stick to one main subject
I am a first time listener to your podcast. You have been scheduled to speak at my church in October, so I want to get a heads-up on your sytle and preaching method. The first message itunes downloaded to my ipod was your Oct 28, 2011 God and Goverentment. I hope all your messages are not like this one. I am a avid podcast listener to Christian speakers and apologist. I am a big fan of your friend Frank Turek. When he speaks he stays on message and faithfully practices all the proper procedures from speech class 101 that he learned in college. You don't. You start on one subject then drift off to (I counted), at least 40 other topics. You lost my interest on this particular podcast after 5 minutes. Why not center your message on two or three key points. Instead you seem to read an encylopedia of ideas and NEVER developed anything concrete. Listen to Frank Turek's method or some other "accomplished" speaker. I hope your other podcast are better! If not, then unfortunately I won't be attending your speech when you visit my church this fall. Frank Turek, Ravi Zacharia, Abdu Murray, Charles Stanley, James Dobson, Chuch Swindoll I listen to all the time. I encourage you to sit at their feet and learn. Your a good and Godly man Steve. I know you can do it. God is not finished with you yet.
