The Best

My favorite podcast. I love that Adam leans to the right and Mark leans to the left yet they find common ground and actually use data and logic in their arguments. May 30, 2020 episode is my favorite episode of my favorite podcast.

Judge is Cherry-picking

Judge Sullivan, like Levin, is cherry-picking. Unlike Levin, who’s a commentator & former U.S. assistant AG, Sullivan is a judge in a high profile criminal case. Sullivan is choosing to ignore Brady material re: Covington & Burling plea meeting to start. In addition, no one seems to want to address the fact Sullivan was only appointed because Judge Rudy Contreras abruptly recused himself from the case on the eve of Flynn’s guilty plea in December 2017 when media reports revealed Contreras’ friendship with FBI counter intel official Peter Strzok. Considering Flynn/Kysliak phone call was not obtained thru FISA per recent release of former classified FBI docs, it’s possible Contreras approved title 18 warrants to spy on Flynn in 2016. Contreras also serves on the FISC, so I’d say Sidney Powell would have a good case that Sullivan should have recused himself (knowing what she now knows) because no reasonable person can assume Sullivan didn’t know WHY Contreras recused himself. Critical thinking demands many things be considered on the heels of Sullivan’s move to appoint a judge to take the place of prosecutor, which is a position that rests solely with government.

Love the show but Mark interrupts too much

Mark, please stop interrupting Adam all the time! People want to hear what Adam has to say. And it’s not like Adam prattles on too long about anything — he’s always cogent and working toward making a clear point, and you almost always interrupt him just before he’s finished making his point. Just wait another 15 seconds and let him finish, for crying out loud. People want to hear him make his points. None of us want to hear him be cut off and not get to finish his point 12 time per episode.
