#012 - Are you a victim or are you accountable?  Do you wait for things to happen or do you make things happen?  Your success in life, both personally and professionally, depends on whether you’re a victim hanging on to the bottom rung, or own your decisions, circumstances, and outcomes, standing (figuratively) firmly on the top rung.  Here's the best advice I ever received, and it's the best advice I could ever give.  “Don’t live your life being a victim, making excuses and blaming others.  Rather, own your behaviors, actions, circumstances, and outcomes.”

#011 - Do you have a dream job at a dream company?  If so, good for you.  If not, how do you get your dream job at your dream company?  Well, you need three things minimally.  You need a great resume.  You need a series of great interviews.  And you need great references to endorse you.  And how do you get all of these?  Listen now for the keys to landing your dream job along with practical, proven strategies and actions that will dramatically increase the probability of your success. 

#010 - The best teams I’ve ever led or been associated with were the most diverse teams - diverse in terms of race, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, background, education, and experience.  Anyone can create a diverse team, but can you foster an inclusive environment? An environment where everyone feels they belong, and their unique contribution valued?

#009 - What kind of boss would you rather work for more than anyone else?  Who would you lay on the tracks for?  Who would you run into the fire for?  Who would you take the hill for?  Run through a brick wall for?  I haven’t had a perfect boss.  I haven’t been one either, not even close.  The perfect boss doesn’t exist, however, if you could define one, what would he or she look like?  What would they be like?

#008 - Are you a new executive, a new CEO, a new leader at any level?  Well then this is a podcast that you’ll want to listen to. If you think you have what it takes to be successful in you new role, simply because you were successful in your last one, you might want to give that some more thought. Do you have a plan to ensure your success during the first 100 days of your new job? No? You may want to kick it into high gear and develop one. Look, your boss and the senior executive team are watching you, and rest assured - they’re expecting big things from you.

#007 - I love the television series “Yellowstone” from the Paramount Network.  It just might be the greatest series since the Sopranos - and that's saying something.  I don’t watch it for the leadership lessons, but we sure got some last Sunday.
