For this episode we welcome @jaywhite74 from the Got Music Social Club residing on the land of the Gadigal people Sydney, Australia. He has many years behind the decks and is a passionate purveyor of all things music particularly anything a bit left field electronic, and always happy to share his musical enthusiasm and knowledge.
For episode thirty one Jay cooks up an expert blend of his "smashed boogie or schmoogie" incorporating forward thinking future bass, IDM and breakbeat chaos that keeps it funky and engaging throughout the duration.
Turn it on and up loud, and enjoy the vibe, I know I have been already with repeated listens on my commute. -

For episode thirty I thought I'd change things up a bit. So far the mix series has been focusing on showcasing DJ's that I enjoy what they are doing at a local level here in Australia along with further abroad too. This is the first mix in the series that I have put together myself the recording from a recent visit to Brisbane Meanjin via a live stream from @QUIVR which is a venue, education facility and livestream location all in one. Well worth checking out if you happen to be in the area.
Included in the mix are forthcoming vinyl releases on our soon to be launched @delphiciris which I encourage you to follow for updates.
Also included in the mix are new releases from Chip Stress & Kenny Everett alongside some favourites from info, DVS NME, Nadia Struiwigh & Southern Outpost among others.

Customer Reviews
Excellent mix series!
Definitely worth subscribing to this DJ mix podcast. A whole host of DJs, some known, others not so much playing quite eclectic mixes. Lots of great electronics, techno, electro, deep house and many surprises thrown in for good measure.
No BS, just straight up underground musics.
Why is this called Recreational Therapy?
A little confused. Recreational Therapy is a profession. It’s the use of purposeful and planned recreation and leisure to improve the lives and functioning for people with disabilities of all kinds. This is a DJ mix podcast. As a Recreational Therapist, I must say I was disappointed when I realized this was not going to give me practical advice for my profession. BUMMER! Also, not sure who needs someone else to come up with a mixtape these days. There are [multiple award-winning] apps for that.
