Gospel Centered Preaching
In a culture like ours today it is rare to find a youth ministry that isn’t an entertaining babysitting club. I have been to many youth groups and “Christian schools” in Rockford and many of their “sermons” are short motivational talks. There is no substance other than “Jesus love you and has a plan for you”. At Harvest Rockford Students their ministry is centered on expository preaching and making disciples. They preach through hard topics, without bending a knee to the culture. Real spiritual growth happens here. So many students have benifited from hearing the living word of God unleashed. You will be blessed as I am to listen attend and listen weekly.
Lies.
The pastor of this church made up a story about who I was based off a couple antidotes I told him in an email.
Bad example and bad pastoral care. Don’t give them your time or money.
Love this church!
Thankful how the Lord has used this youth ministry in my life over the last 7+ years! So grateful for the faithful leaders that serve and preach the Word of God unapologetically!
