As Chief Marketing Officer, Nagaswamy is responsible for Mitel’s global marketing motions, including demand generation, field marketing, corporate brand, and analyst relations. He has deep expertise in data-driven go-to-market functions, with a focus on B2B marketing in enterprise communications and SaaS organizations. Prior to joining Mitel, Nagaswamy was Global Vice President of Marketing at 8x8, where he successfully led the digital transformation of that company’s marketing functions. Nagaswamy was also co-founder and CEO of Mariana, a pioneering AI for marketing technology company that used deep learning to identify, target and engage B2B customers. Previously, he also held leadership positions at Juniper Networks and McKinsey and Company. Nagaswamy has an MBA from the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business, a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a BTech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.

    3M's Kathryn Coleman Shares Insights From Its Work Your Way Program

    Executives need to define how their organization will support the a mixture of hybrid work, remote work and full-time office workers. In 2021, 3M rolled out a strategy it called Work Your Way. In this conversation with 3M's Kathryn Coleman, we discuss the lessons the company has learned over that past year as it's put this strategy into place. You can read more about the strategy here. Bio  Dr. Kathryn J. Coleman has over 20 years of experience in talent acquisition, diversity, strategy, policy, and project management.  As Senior Vice President of Talent, Learning, and Insights, she leads a global cross-functional team that brings together experts to provide world-class workforce and talent planning that attract, develop and support the retention and progression of talent. Additional responsibilities include oversight for HR Business Partners globally. Her previous 3M roles include, Vice President of Talent Planning, Acquisition and Assessment, Vice President, Strategy and Culture, Global Director, HR PMO and Master Black Belt, Global Director, Virtual Experience, Technology & Employee Development, Global Director, Talent Acquisition and Onboarding, Global Talent Acquisition Strategy Manager and US Talent Acquisition Operations Manager. Prior to joining 3M, Dr. Coleman held several leadership roles in the public and private sector including Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition at SUPERVALU, Director of Diversity Initiatives at the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota and Director of Admissions for Recruiting at William Mitchell College of Law.     Dr. Coleman earned her Ph.D. in Educational Policy and Administration from the University of Minnesota, a M.A. in Counseling and Student Personnel Psychology from the University of Minnesota, and a B.A. in Psychology from Macalester College.   She has served on several local and national boards including The Conference Board, Career Development Practitioners Council, National Black MBA Association- Twin Cities Chapter, National Society of Hispanic MBAs, the Urban League- Twin Cities, and The Consortium for Graduate Study in Management.  In 2015, Dr. Coleman received the Peter C. Thorpe Leadership Award, recognizing her leadership as a corporate champion of ethnic diversity.   She also served on the board of the YWCA Minneapolis; whose mission is to eliminate racism, empower women and girls, and promote peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.

    In this podcast with Accenture's Christie Smith, we discuss the organizational learnings from the company's recent book Radically Human and the  changes in required to successfully navigate the future of work.   Her bio: Christie Smith is the global lead of Talent & Organization/Human Potential at Accenture. Christie joined Accenture in 2020 to lead and expand the transformation offerings that address the complex change management challenges facing CEOs, C-suites and boards, and assumed leadership of global Talent & Organization/Human Potential in March 2021. In 2022, she became Accenture’s Executive Pride Sponsor, representing and promoting LGBTIQ+ equality at the highest level of the organization.   Previously, Christie was with Apple where she was the global vice president for Inclusion & Diversity (I&D), I&D business partners and I&D solutions. She managed the global expansion of the function and the team in all regions and countries where Apple had offices and retail stores. Her leadership at Apple was integral to iconic products such as Memoji, iPhone Camera and iOS software in multiple languages. In addition, at Apple, she was instrumental in the growth of female and underrepresented minorities, expansion of scalable solutions in recruiting, global pay equity and compensation, and development of leaders.   Prior to her role at Apple, Christie served as interim CHRO at Grail, a start-up cancer detection company, and was a principal with Deloitte Consulting. As a national Human Capital leader at Deloitte, she was responsible for working with global clients on their talent management, organizational design, workforce planning, compensation strategies, I&D and HR technology solutions. In this role, Christie led large-scale technology implementations, change management, risk and communication strategies.   She also has deep expertise in CEO consulting around global talent strategies, along with CEO succession and executive team structure, management and capability. As a strategist, she led new product offering strategies for Deloitte in the United States and global markets, including the development of customer strategy in BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India and China) and EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) countries. As part of her strategic framework, she leveraged deep data analytics to drive predictive socioeconomic and political factors that would impact business and market strategies.  Her leadership in business development and expansion includes being the west region managing principal of Deloitte Consulting, where she led growth in consulting, technology, human capital and strategy. She also led Deloitte’s west region Life Sciences industry practice. Christie was part of the leadership team that drove expansion of Deloitte Consulting into China and greater APAC. Christie also was responsible for the founding and leadership of the Deloitte University Centers for Inclusion and Community Impact.  She has been covered by The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Harvard Business Review, Fortune, Forbes and CNN.     In this podcast, we discuss opportunities and challenges in managing a hybrid workplace.  Allison Dew is Chief Marketing Officer for Dell Technologies. In this role, Allison is directly responsible for the global marketing organization, strategy, and all aspects of Dell Technologies marketing efforts including brand and creative, product marketing, communications, digital, and field and channel marketing. Allison believes in combining creative excellence with data-driven decision-making in service of business outcomes and greater customer relevance. Since joining Dell Technologies in 2008, she has been instrumental in Dell Technologies marketing transformation, leading an emphasis on data-driven marketing, customer understanding and integrated planning. Most recently, she led marketing for Dell Technologies Client Solutions Group.  Previously, Allison held marketing leadership roles at Microsoft. She also worked agency side in both a regional advertising shop in Tokyo, Japan, and an independent multi-cultural agency in New York. Allison holds an MBA from the Wharton School, an MA in International Studies with a concentration in Japanese, and a BA in French and Japanese, both from the University of Pennsylvania.
