    Conference Recap!

Brian and Julie Sims trade the studio for their living room to recap a big milestone: the very first Woman at the Well(ness) Conference. Inspired by the story of the woman at the well in John 4 — where Jesus looks past a woman's mess and sees her true value — Julie built a conference around the idea that physical, emotional, and spiritual health aren't separate pieces. They're all connected. In this episode, Julie walks through each speaker and their piece of the wellness "pie": Lynette Wing on epigenetics and the body's God-given ability to heal ("Nothing Missing, Nothing Broken"), myofascial release specialist Tessa Myers on how trauma gets stuck in the body like flies in a spider web, Jennifer Schmidt on the crucial difference between guilt and shame ("No Shame on You"), and licensed professional counselor Leslie Saurin on why behavior modification fails — and why changing your beliefs changes everything. Julie also shares her own talk on simplifying the eating dilemma, including her rules for eating real food, shopping the periphery of the grocery store, and getting back to the family dinner table. Missed the conference? The full eight-hour replay is available on the Around the Table Life website under Events. And yes — Julie already has speakers in mind for round two. Stay tuned. A couple of quick notes: the transcript audio garbled a few names, so double-check the spellings of Leslie Saurin/Soren, Tessa Myers, and Lynette Wing against your conference materials before publishing. Want me to trim this down for platforms with tighter character limits (Spotify/Apple show notes), or adjust the tone?
