10 romantic gestures to boost your relationship

10 romantic gestures to boost your relationship

This episode features Dr. Jon Dabach discussing romantic gestures to enhance relationships. He emphasizes the importance of surprise and delight in maintaining romance, suggesting gestures like surprise date nights and thoughtful gift-giving. Each gesture, he argues, should incorporate an element of surprise and be tailored to the partner's preferences, ensuring that the actions are meaningful and reflect a deep understanding of the partner's likes and dislikes.
Dr. Dabach highlights various romantic gestures including love notes, tech-free nights, and recreating special memories. These gestures aim to strengthen bonds by fostering emotional closeness and creating memorable experiences. For instance, handwritten love notes can express affection in a personal way, while tech-free nights encourage couples to engage in activities together without digital distractions, enhancing their connection.
Additionally, Dr. Dabach outlines more intensive gestures like weekend getaways and public declarations of love. These actions not only provide opportunities for couples to spend quality time together but also publicly affirm their commitment to each other. He concludes by recommending regular relationship check-ins to maintain communication and ensure both partners are aligned in their emotional needs and expectations, underscoring the importance of ongoing effort in nurturing a romantic relationship.

Matt Zemon ,

Passionate about his work!

There is a reason why Jon is one of the best marriage counselors in the country- he is passionate about his work. His podcasts are sincere expressions of his curiosity. He asks great questions of his guests and doesn’t let them just give the “standard” answers.

Bravo👏👏👏

Jon was an outstanding host for the podcast that we did with him on our own relationship coaching that we do with healthcare professionals.

He has phenomenal insight into relationships but above all he desires to help in any way he can!
