RELATIVITY is a science-fiction serial about a man marooned in space and the woman on Earth who struggles to keep him alive. Find out more at www.relativitypodcast.com!
After a journey of sixty trillion kilometers, Konyechny arrives at the new world.
And there are surprises waiting.
Some of them are good.
Some connections are lost, but some new ones are forged. Chris climbs out of a hole and Nadia throws a party. And one of the longest-held mysteries of this entire adventure is finally explained...
The mysterious voice does indeed turn out to be an important person. Chris and Mac work on an idea that may change the whole world for the better, and meanwhile Prithvi is doing the same! And the day Chris has been dreading for years ... has arrived.
Can Marcus and Sophia -- with help from Nadia -- get Chris back inside the ship before all of his air vents out into space? Can Mac be persuaded to look for something every other scientist on Earth has missed? And could Dr. Mason finally be losing his one and only mind?
Hurtling through the universe in a spaceship is dangerous enough ... leaving that ship and going outside to fix something, well ... that's a whole different level of danger.
A long-held secret is at last uncovered. Will it change Chris and Sophia's relationship forever? This episode answers that question, too, by jumping ahead a few years ...!

Worth writing a review
I’ve listened to several hundred Sci Fi and Fantasy podcasts. Wow, most are really really ... mediocre. This is one of a handful of truly wonderful Sci Fi podcasts. There are five main human characters and the A.I. that you come to love and wish the best. The relationship between Christopher Mason, the ship’s Doctor, and Sophia, the flight director on a dying Earth, spans his 20 year journey across the Universe. But he’s never alone. And the ending was not only a surprise, but worked perfectly. It was worth the listen. I hope you think so, too.
Fantastic & Fantastical
If you're familiar with science fiction, you're familiar with science fiction tropes. This is happily thin on well-worn character, engineering and science tropes; it even includes biology beyond terraforming, cryogenics and artificial reproduction.
Future projections are both the same and different to what's been done before but there's only so much any author can do with humans from earth.
----Almost not a spoiler but warning----
Everyone listening in "these challenging times" will realize the author knew, like a lot of us, that pandemics are unavoidable. Bringing one in connects the storyline to the present and maybe serves as a warning for people who pay attention. I doubt he expected the present to ram into his future so soon.
I binge listen so I wish I knew how many episodes I have to wait between pauses (not really seasons).
Pointed here by Discussing Who( check it out if you haven’t) and I’m very glad I came. This podcast makes me care about each character, since the scripts are amazing, and the acting is phenomenal. It can have me grinning from ear to ear or hiding under my blankets, afraid to come out. Thank you for such a wonderful delight, and good luck for the final ten episodes!
