Episodion Quadragesimum et Tertium: Fabula Persei Pars Secunda
Salvete sodales! Welcome to our series, "Rem Tene;" a Latin podcast presented by Latinitas Animi Causa for beginner and intermediate learners of the Latin language built and designed for the acquisition and understanding of it as a language, not just a code to decipher.
In this episode, I, Andreas, tell you part two of the story of Perseus mutatis mutandis!
We gloss some words throughout the episode in English and repeat them. We don't, however, gloss everything. Our brains are really good at deducing meaning when we know a lot of the context surrounding words or phrases. The transcript for the show can be found below so you can follow along. We hope you enjoy this show!
Please take some time, if you enjoy this, to rate us and write to us! We love hearing from our listeners and receiving feedback on how we can improve! You can also support us on Patreon (link below); though everything is free, it helps us do what we do and reinvest in creating more Latin and ancient Greek content. Gratias vobis agimus et curate ut valeatis in proximum!

I’m kind of mad.
Gratias maximas tibi! I listen to LAC, but just learned about Rem Tene last week. I’m so mad I didn’t have it to share with my students sooner! I love the slow with help, then faster without help format. I will be subscribing.
What a benefit!
This podcast is amazing! What a great resource for me. Thanks!!!!
Great refresher
I am catching up on this series to get ready for a Latin class I'm taking this summer and LOVING IT. Each episode is the perfect length to listen to while getting ready in the morning or doing chores. Andreas' enthusiasm is contagious and I appreciate the format of slow speech with English glosses thrown in followed by a quicker unglossed repeat. Highly recommend this to anybody studying Latin at the beginner or intermediate level!
