We all loved the teaching and preaching of R. C. Sproul. And I deeply respect the Biblical perspectives of some of the other pastors promoted in this series. But I would ask Ligonier Ministries to consider no longer using your branding of Dr Sproul for this podcast. Why? It is misleading. Why not (where applicable) “Renewing Your Mind with ___ or the name of the dear pastor producing this new content? I would listen to R.C. regularly as I learned from Dr Sproul for many years in the past. And I would like to pick and choose from other Ligonier fellows in addition to those other podcasts to which I subscribe. But I would be more inclined to support Ligonier as in previous years if I could trust your integrity to own up to the truth of who we might expect to hear when we choose a Renewing Your mind broadcast. You are disciples of Christ Jesus. Please pray for our Lord’s will to be done in your witness. Humbly His and yours.

I love this podcast so much!! This podcast has helped me with my walk with Christ. Great sermons! Its a perfect podcast for strengthening your faith. Also, his voice is so calming which makes it great to listen before bed.

RC Sproul had some great moments. He also occasionally was too philosophical and pedantic in certain odd ways but less so with others, which can make for an odd experience while listening. Since his passing, I’ve been grateful for aspects of the ministry, especially for the introduction of Sinclair Ferguson and a few other guest teachers. However, the Steven Lawson mess and Ligonier’s lack of public response/statement- ESPECIALLY after promoting Lawson’s harsh teachings and borderline heretical downplaying of repentance in both his teaching (he put all the responsibility on God) and his own personal life - and I’ve had to unfollow the podcast. It really is necessary for a ministry such as this to make clear public statements about teachers whose careers it has promoted. I just don’t understand the rationale for including Lawson in a Q&A on marriage a month or two before his scandal became public knowledge and then not ever comment on the fact of his hypocrisy.
