This is an incredibly powerful and profound body of work! The framing of each individual episode and the overall arc of the entire series was so well done! Thank you to the AYS team for this gift of a podcast!

This was one of the most beautiful podcasts I've ever listened to and the first time for me EVER where journalism felt like art. Amazing work from Noor and her team. From the way each of the stories fit together while being distinctively their own, to the courage of each of the storytellers themselves, to the beautiful vocals by Mumu Fresh, to the insightful analysis and historical context provided by the experts and participants, everything from start to finish was a feast for the ears, heart, and mind! Noor, Adam, the AYS team, Zaron, and everyone else who worked on/helped produce this truly created a timeless masterpiece. Bravo!

Everything about this podcast is so intentional and curated and well thought-out. You get a glimpse into Noor’s though process and questions, which inspire you to ask questions yourself-about your family, your religion, your future, your friends, your history. This transformed the way i think about the stories I’m told and the stories I tell, the media I see and consume, and the people and ideas I interact with. There are so many unique and incredibly moving stories and interviews here, too. Interviews that are truly groundbreaking. Noor and her team have a way of transporting the listener into another world, into other’s lived experiences. It’s incredible and I’m better for it.

It’s been truly transformative listening to the entire series. It has brought a lot of light, perspective & growth to my life. I’m so grateful to have listened to this series and even more grateful to have been a part of post podcast club discussions. You can tell how hard Noor & her team have worked for this amazing podcast series, from the writing, to the diverse interviews, to the music production. It has been worth listening to twice, each time with new perspectives unfolding. I hope more people listen to this podcast series from diverse backgrounds. It’s a story one can relate to and learn from no matter their life experience. Will continue following her work and can’t wait to see what’s coming next!
