We recorded this message WAY back in March, but then spring break happened, and then they told us to go back to "in-person" teaching, but it wasn't "real" in-person teaching, and it kind of fell by the wayside. But here it is! Kristen Pallas is the band director at El Diamante HS in Visalia, CA and she's here to spill the tea on stories back in the day when we were students together at Fresno State. Enjoy!

    Ep. 3 Anthony Perez-Medina

    This week we bring in former Independence HS student and current band director at Sunnyside High School Anthony Perez. We talk about Anthony switching to French Horn, trying to live off of $5 at Taco Bell, being college roommates with A-Rod, and a whole slew of other things. PLUS, Green & A-Rod take questions from their students and discuss favorite movies, winter guard shows, an update on coming back to school, and some of our favorite memories doing the band and orchestra thing.

IHS Math teacher, music “Super-Chaperone,” and all around super positive person DJ Stout joins us to talk about surviving a “fire” during college (while failing to save a viola), conducting a basketball pep band with our former drum major Gracie, and the real story behind Kirby the giraffe.     Ep. 1 Oh Wow, Our First Podcast

    Green & A-Rod set up to record their first podcast. They go over distance learning, summer break, Green's new baby, and a number of other things. Shout out to the school bell which for some strange reason is still ringing in the middle of the day as well as a few random notifications from our laptops and cellphones. Apologies for the lack of wind screen on Green (he keeps sniffling his nose and it's really annoying; he'll fix that next time).
