The Passover wasn’t just a memorial dinner—it was a prophetic picture of salvation itself.     “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.” We quote it all the time. But what did Jesus actually mean—and what did He tell His disciples to do about it? Gabriel and Sonny unpack Jesus’ instructions to His disciples before sending them out, revealing five practical principles for sharing the gospel that are just as urgent today as they were two thousand years ago. Recognize the Fields Are White for Harvest • Why some people are ready to respond right now—they’re just waiting for someone to invite them • The distinction between fields ready for harvest and fields ready for planting (John 4:35-38) 2.     God called a people to Himself. This is His description of them: You will be my treasured possession, a kingdom of priests, and a holy nation. So what did these three descriptions mean for the children of Israel and what do they mean to us today? In this episode we cover: • Why the children of Israel were God’s treasured possession, but not vice versa.  • How being a kingdom of priests was meant to draw all nations to God.     The Domain in the New Testament - Episode 409

    Where is God right now?  Right up until the end of the Old Testament there was a clear answer to the question: He was in the Temple. But as the Old Testament came to a close the answer became more and more vague. The people of God began to wonder whether God was with them at all.  The New Testament, then, is largely an exploration of the true temple. Where God really is. So join us as Gabriel and Sonny discuss the New Testament theme of God’s domain.  In this episode we explore:  • The three phases of God’s domain in the New Testament. • How holiness is at the core of the “Temple problem.”  • Christ’s ability to transfer holiness.  • Our responsibility as individual temples and a collective temple (the church).  • God’s plan to restore His presence to humanity.  We all desire relationship and nearness. God offers that to us. His only requirement is holiness.
