    Air Force One (July 25-31, 1997)

    From watching out for trees to getting off planes, we turn to the LAST EPISODE of Rewind 25-52 by talking about the action/adventure film “Air Force One”. Joey Rogate (from our “The Relic” episode, Best Picture Cast, & Worst Picture Cast) joins me to break down all the angles of this film: the wonderful lead performances, the amazing supporting cast, the pitfalls of the script, and the TERRIBLE VFX. In addition, the two assemble Harrison Ford’s Mt. Rushmore, a very famous wedding, and summer shenanigans. It was a pleasure to bring this podcast to you all for 30 weeks!!!     George of the Jungle (July 18-24, 1997)

    From visitors from another dimension to talking gorillas, we pivot HARD to a family-friendly comedy starring an icon of the 90s (Brendan Fraser) – “George of the Jungle”. This week I have two guests: Melissa (my wife & co-host of “Below Freezing”) and my sister, Chelsea Clifton (whose last name I get WRONG in the episode) to talk about our early encounters with this movie and what stood out this time: elephant piss, the wrong bridge in San Francisco, and the ageless Leslie Mann.     Out to Sea (July 4-10, 1997)

    From two leads chasing after each other to two leads who can barely get from point A to point B, we head back out to the open waters for this…comedic(?) film from two comedy legends: the Jack Lemmon/Walter Mathau led “Out to Sea”. I purchased a solo ticket for this one and talk about the tidbits that stood out to me: the idiocy of the plan by Mathau, Brent Spiner and where I recognized him from, and I guess sexism is okay when you get old (is that right?).
