I saw near-death experiences in parking lots, tortilla chip aisle showdowns, and realized that people will fight for buffalo dip like it’s gold. After barely escaping that retail war zone, let’s talk about something way more fun—my recent trip to Guatemala. I never had Guatemala on my travel bucket list, but after spending a week hiking volcanoes, wheezing up 75-degree-angled streets, riding a horse (which aggressively farted in my husband’s face), I am a changed person.
