Fun for Rick Fans.

The enthusiasm Chris and Stephanie have for Rick is what kept me listening. I too am a Rickophile and found out about the podcast from Rick’s twitter mentioning his interview on it. I love how intricately they dissect the episodes. It’s not really something I listen to for travel tips per se, they talk a lot about where they’ve personally been (understandably) and personal stories. No intent to be mean, but my biggest criticism is that often I catch myself counting how many times Stephanie says “like.” For example it’ll go something similar to this: “Like, I really like how Rick didn’t like, try to like educate us on how much, like time it takes to like count out change in Budapest.” It gets distracting.

I love this podcast! I follow Traveling Mitch on instagram and twitter, and learned about this podcast from him. I love how both Stephanie and Mitch not only review Rick Steves, but share the experience and knowledge along with thought provoking conversations. I have just discovered Stephanie Craig, AKA, History Fan Girl as well. I can’t wait to read and listen to her podcasts!

Had to skip a lot

I listened to the Amsterdam episode, although I found a couple things helpful and not a complete waste of time I still had to keep skipping over a lot to get to the main points. Also I was completely bothered by the food eating during the podcast.
