This was a five star podcast for me until they both came out as Timotheé Chalamet apologists. Way too much time spent on a boy who, despite years of PR training, severely misspoke (and will still win awards so, sadly, who cares). Women never get this many chances in the industry, or even this level of attention for their good choices. What a hill to die on.

I love Jam Session and We’re Obsessed. I don’t understand the haters when they say there’s too much kid talk. I don’t have kids and if it doesn’t bother me, it shouldn’t bother you. If you’re a parent and you’re enraged that Amanda and Juliet talk about kids, maybe you need to go get a hydrofacial or spend a solo night away from your family because you sound stressed and angry at the wrong people. Amanda and Juliet, keep up the good work. I look forward to every episode.

Amanda is so hard to listen to and cannot do it anymore (the whole reason I don’t listen to The Big Picture. - She references how “old” she is in every episode. It’s boring and cliche and a great way to feel “old.” - She talks about her kids too much. I come here for celeb news - not for a parenting podcast. Love that she loves them - don’t need to hear about it. - Not sure if she can help it - but with any word that ends with “ing” she adds a “ick” to the end. -Just not nice seeming. PLEASE get a new host or just send her off on her own pod.

I’ve been listening to this podcast religiously since Covid times and most of the time I really enjoy it. However, I do find that both Amanda and Juliet tend to share information that hasn’t been verified or researched. For example to (4/1/26) Juliet claimed that Swift sued Rodrigo over writing credits for using elements of NYD when in fact Rodrigo preemptively gave those writing credits to her. I don’t care about Taylor Swift or Olivia Rodrigo but I do care about the spread of misinformation especially with a platform as big as this. Fact checking is more important than ever and just because Jam Session is a pop culture podcast doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be held to those standards.
