It's my senior year and for that reasoning I would like to introduce you to Growing Pains.     Episode 59: Take A Moment

    Hello Elements. I hope you're doing well. It's Kayla here with Episode 59: Take A Moment. In this episode, I ask if you can set a moment aside to have a moment of silence for those who lost their lives in Afghanistan last Thursday from the 2 bombings that happened in the Kabul Airport and near the Kabul Hotel, killing 13 U.S. service members and more than 90 Afghans. There is no telling what can happen in these next coming days, especially nearing the anniversary of 9/11 that killed more than 2,000 people, so please take a moment to pray for the families and the injured. If you have any family members in Afghanistan I pray that they are safe and are away from the war happening in Afghanistan. Remember there is always some form of help that can be done for both our U.S. service men and women and Afghans, don't hesitate to lend a helping hand. Please stay safe Elements. Rise on Elements.

I had a very inspirational and informative interview with an advocate for the LGBTQIA+ Community. She talked about the struggles and the discrimination she and others in her community have faced in the past and recently years. Hitting the topics of most recent equality policies and TikTok hits, we talked about issues about transitioning into a new period of equality for the LGBTQIA+ Community. Sharing personal stories, the bold advocate talks about how derogatory terms and rude gestures shape her drive for change. Giving an inspirational commentary, the daring member has brought to light a new meaning for Pride Month that you can listen to now.     Welcome Elements, it is Kayla here with your Rising Elements Summer Talk Episode 1. Although the title does say Episode 55, just imagine it says Episode 1. I'm asking for you to use your imagination :). Elements this is the first episode of R.E.S.T and I wanted to highlight the biggest most vibrant event of the year filled with all walks of life, diverse colors, and meaning. Happy Pride Month! In this episode you will find how Pride Month started and how it has changed and ignited a knew era of love. I hope you enjoy Episode 1 or Episode 55 however you see it.
