    S7 E26: Say It Thrice

Trix tests the shimmery wall and although they don't touch it directly, they feel a jolt of pain. Elaith draws out their sunburst rune and sends a bolt of energy at the wall. Noticing that the beam seems to damage the barrier, they attack it a few more times until it disappears. Suddenly, the party hears a door opening above them. Trix quickly uses the combination to unlock the vault door before the skeletons descend into the tunnel. Between the exhaustion and the surprise of nearly being burnt by the skeleton’s torch, Trix momentarily faints. After Rou and Elaith revive Trix, the trio watches as the skeletons head into the vault, take measurements and notes about the orb and then leave. The door closes behind them once again and the party explores the vault. They notice there are several large chests full of gold and valuables, as well cabinets full of what could have been important documentation. Seeing the orb enclosed within a metal cage, Rou attempts to grab it but is immediately blown backward by a powerful force. When they contact Harriet for next steps, she tricks them into summoning someone very powerful. S7 E21: A Restless Night

CW: Description of rotting corpse. If this would be triggering for you, please skip 2:53 to 2:59, 5:29 to 5:39, and 18:42 to 18:48 as your safety and enjoyment are important to us. Rou attempts to converse with the ghostly figure despite Trix’s protestations. The figure refuses to respond outside of pointing toward the beam of light in the distance. Rou poses that they might be the wizard Arcazar. The figure seems to respond to that, but not in a way that confirms the party’s suspicions. They are soon interrupted when a horde of skeletons march on the observatory. Surprisingly, the mob is stopped some distance away from the entrance, almost as if an invisible barrier protects the building. On the brink of exhaustion, the party decides to rest and set up a watch. Trix sets traps downstairs before taking the first shift, sitting at the top of the stairs to watch the door. After an uneventful shift, Rou takes over and spends it trying to get answers from the figure to no avail. Elaith suffers nightmares and is all too happy to take their shift when Rou wakes them. As the morning hours approach, the figure points toward the bed when Elaith asks about what the horde wants. Rou and Trix, both plagued with their own nightmares, are awoken by the sounds of Elaith tearing the bed apart. S7 E20: The Observatory

CW: Description of rotting corpse. If this would be triggering for you, please skip 39:55 to 40:04 as your safety and enjoyment are important to us. The observatory is dimly lit, the ground floor wide open. Rou almost immediately notices something about the space seems off. Keeping the thought to himself for the time being, the group splits up to poke around the various side rooms. Shortly after the split, Trix breaks into the remains of an office. Searching through the desk, they find some coins to pocket as well as stationary that reveals the observatory is located on Arling Isle. In the current year, Arling Isle is a legally protected island north of Baukora. The trio is troubled and confused at the realization the storm has blown them clear across the world, and begin to suspect there’s something ill afoot. Eventually they find the stairs leading up to the telescope, the paperwork and charts within reveal the ruins were once called Seaport. Taking a break to nibble on snacks and contemplate their situation, Elaith reveals the real reason they can’t return home. When the party continues their search, they find more newspapers that reveal Seaport was expecting a visit from a renowned scholar from the Wyvern Isles. The scholar hoped to examine a strange object found in the town’s nearby mines. As the sun sets, they notice a strange reddish light off in the distance by the ruins and that they’re not alone in the observatory.  Follow Dax @gmdax, Kappa @TheKappaChris, Sebastian @sebastianyue and Wren @ThornyDryad EPISODE CREDITS: Produced by Dax Opening theme music, editing and mixing by Wren Logo Artwork design by Jessie Character Artwork design by Riyuski Segment music and sound effects licensed through Epidemic Sound LINKS: Be sure to follow and tag Roads Uncharted on Bluesky!
