Since 2004, GaCo has grown their team and outreach to become the 2022 Chairman’s (now Impact) Award Champions! They have transformed STEM education and improved opportunities in their county by reaching out to every 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade classroom through their Waypoint Lessons.     Episode 4: VISTA Leader, Kate Sample

    For the first episode of our new season, meet Kate Sample, a VISTA Leader for Americorps who has been involved with FIRST since she was five years old! Since then, she has received a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, a Master’s Degree as a STEM Instruction Specialist, and has guided Title I students through their FIRST journey and into successful STEM careers.
