No Jean. Doc's Racing Report. A new "Karen of the Day". Another woman trying to sneak something into the jail inside her hoo-ha.

No Jean? No problem! She's out today, but I'll get you through the morning with a new "Karen of the Day", Doc's Racing Report thanks to County Materials in Holmen & Eau Claire, and what's on TV & streaming this weekend…along with what's new in theaters! A vending machine in MN is selling small pieces of art, and check out this senior living facility that hosted a "slip & slide" for it's residents. The city of Cambridge, MA is proposing a 30-minute limit on drink orders in bars. Elsewhere in sports, a look at what people are Googling when it comes to the World Cup, the MLBPA is trying to get rid of prop bets to protect their players, and Jake Paul apparently wants to play in the NFL now. And in today's edition of "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about some Wendy's employees who took food out of the trash…spit in it…and then served it to customers, a Wisconsin woman who tried to hire someone to kill her baby daddy, a sheriff in Louisiana who beat up a podcaster, a woman who got arrested for trespassing and had a bottle of wine in her vagina, and a story about the importance of calling 811 before you dig. Hypothetical Thursday. Office Cora. Hiding a crack pipe in your vagina.

Here comes that heat again. Looking at temps in the mid-90's by Monday. Uffdah. Sadly, my shoulder injury kept me from working on the firepit in my backyard yesterday. But thankfully, it's been improving all week, and hopefully by next week, I'll be good to go. In the news this morning, a massive earthquake in Venezuela kills over 30 people, a pilot on an Air Canada flight had to be restrained by passengers after he suffered a seizure, the Knicks fan who dumped trash all over the sidewalk & stole a garbage can has not only been fired from her job…but after returning the stolen trash can…she got fined by the city, and the city of Fond du Lac is looking to pay you to move there! In sports, the Brew Crew complete the series sweep of the Reds with a 6-5 win last night, Team USA plays Turkey tonight at 9pm, a look at some of the interesting foods available at World Cup stadiums during the games, Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold is arrested, the IOC is going to start paying athletes, and a World Series of Poker player was using a buttplug for a card protector and got in trouble! We talked about what's on TV & streaming today/tonight. Plus, a remake of the Blair Witch is in the works, a musical based on "The Warriors" movie is being produced by Lin-Manuel Miranda, and some research on music lyrics has revealed that tunes are a lot meaner and more immoral than they used to be(DUH). A woman was saved from a burning house by her barking poodle, and a dude was recently reunited with a missing wallet that he didn't even realize he lost. It's "Hypothetical Thursday"…so we asked each other hypothetical questions today. Jean's question for Brian was: "If you could relive one year of your life, which year would you choose?" Meanwhile, Brian's question for Jean was: "You get $250,000…..but every traffic light you hit for the REST of your life is red. Do you take the money?" Elsewhere in sports, Josh Hokit appeared on the Ariel Halwani show and doubled down on his comments about Michelle Obama, the Mascot Hall of Fame is looking for nominations to join the Hall this year, and the Miami Marlins are going to hook one doggo up with a dream day after a recent viral video. Office Cora joined us just after 8am to talk about what she's up to in the 715 this weekend, and in today's edition of "Bad News with Happy Music"….we had stories about a Waffle House lawsuit, an orange ooze that's becoming a problem in California, A.I. bots stole more than $264,000 in taxpayer-funded financial aid by making fake accounts for fake students, a #FloridaMan who was purchasing E.D. meds without a prescription & selling them at a retirement community, and a #FloridaWoman who got arrested…kicked a cop…and had a crack pipe stashed in her vagina. One Gotta Go Wednesday. Best & worst states for a road trip. Who'd you rather?

Hump Day!! Got some rain on the overnight, but should stay dry for the rest of the day. Which is good…because my guy, Chuck, is coming over later today and we're gonna work on getting that firepit finished. In the news this morning, it sounds like the father who fell to his death at Madison Square Garden last weekend might have actually jumped, a deadly shooting at a library in California, the Knicks fan who stole a trash can after dumping all the garbage on the sidewalk gets fired from her job, M&M's is getting rid of two colors, In sports, the Brewers beat the Reds again last night, a look at the first round of the NBA Draft…including the Bucks picks, the NFL cancels the supplemental draft which essentially ends Brendan Sorsby's chances of playing in the league this year, the Trailblazers have hired Micah Nori for their head coach, and President Trump is going to present the FIFA trophy to this year's World Cup winners. We let you know what's on TV & streaming today/tonight. Plus, Jack White is getting divorced, and the trailer for Ben Stiller's pickleball movie is out. A woman's birthday party invite goes viral and a bunch of strangers showed up to hang out with her…and an engineering student has designed 3D dentures to help out people who need them. It's One Gotta Go Wednesday…and this week, we had to choose between four Midwestern states - Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, or Illinois! And speaking of states…Wallethub just released it's annual report on the best & worst states for a road trip this Summer. Elsewhere in sports, the Oilers have hired Mike Babcock to be their next head coach, the Patriots are looking to play a game in Scotland sometime in the near future after the success of the Tartan Army coming to Boston for the World Cup, Tiger Woods made his first appearance since his DUI arrest a few months ago, and Linda Cohn is likely done at ESPN. A recent hypothetical poll asked people if they'd rather become 10% happier, 20% luckier, age 30% slower, become 40% prettier or hotter, get paid 50% more money for your job, or become 60% better in ANY sport. And in today's edition of "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about a semi carrying millions of bees that overturned in Texas, a Walmart cashier that hid a winning lottery ticket from an elderly customer, a guy who was using a massage gun on his eyeballs, and a cannibal who was digging up bodies from cemeteries in Hungary. Brian made a BIG oopsie on Friday night. Snacking habits. Dogs > Cats.

Back to the grind. After another busy weekend, here we are…at work. Again. Not only that, but I must have slept wrong and my shoulder is all out of whack and in a ton of pain. Had a very successful charity golf outing on Friday. Spent Saturday morning doing laundry & mowing the lawn…ran a few errands…went to the Speedway for the Smash-O-Rama. Then we had another parade yesterday with the Oktoberfest Grenadiers. I'm pooped! In the news this morning, a news anchor from Iowa quits live on-air, a new Miss Wisconsin is crowned, an airline passenger bit another person on the plane and was allegedly trying to fight everyone on board, another idiot tourist got too close to a bison at Yellowstone Park, In sports, the Brewers dropped two out of three to the Braves this weekend but managed to get a 9-4 win yesterday, Pat Murphy is getting a couple of procedures in the next few weeks, Team USA beat Australia on Friday & is on to the round of 32 in the World Cup, Corey Heim got his first NASCAR win yesterday at the Naval Base, and Wyndham Clark won his second U.S. Open this weekend after leading the tournament wire to wire. We talked about what's on TV today/tonight and Brian started watching a couple of shows on Netflix this weekend, including "Michael Jackson: The Verdict" and "Trust Me: The False Prophet" Are Dogs > Cats? Some new research may show that cats don't relieve stress as well as dogs can. Elsewhere in sports, Brady Tkachuk is headed to Florida to play with his brother, Jonathan Toews retires from hockey, a former U.S. Olympian is arrested after allegedly vandalizing the Reflecting Pool in D.C., and a fan climbs over the fence at a NASCAR race to have a chat with one of the drivers. An injured sea turtle was saved by some vets and is now back in the ocean and doing well…a man in Louisiana heroically saved a family that was in danger of drowning, and a woman who recently got married was walked down the aisle by the man who received her father's heart in an organ donation. We talked about some of our snacking habits, and we discussed the new number to shoot for when you're trying to retire. And in today's edition of "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about an 85 year-old man who was racing his Nissan while smoking a cigarillo, the Governor of Massachusetts declared haggis "legal", a food delivery robot that got caught in a S.W.A.T. operation, a #FloridaWoman who assaulted a man with her pickleball paddle, and another #FloridaMan tried to steal a med-vac copter. Hypothetical Thursday. Office Cora. Bad News with Happy Music!

Looks like we should stay dry today with no rain in the forecast. A bit warmer than yesterday, too. It's "Hypothetical Thursday", so we asked each other hypothetical questions. Brian's question for Jean was: "If you were going to bury a time capsule that won't be opened for 250 years, what would you put in it?" And Jean's question for Brian was: "Do you have any recurring dreams or nightmares that you remember from your youth?" Office Cora joined us just after 8am to talk about what she's up to in the 715 this weekend. In the news this morning, the latest on the deadly shooting at a hospital in Delaware earlier this week, Rachel Dratch pulls out the "Debbie Downer" character during a commencement speech, an actress from "The Ring" and "Lilo & Stitch" passes away, In sports, the Brewers beat the Guardians again last night, Team USA is set to take on Australia tomorrow in World Cup action, the Knicks will be the first NBA Championship team to visit President Trump at the White House, the Vegas Golden Knights & the Toronto Maple Leafs announce their new head coaches, and the college baseball World Series match-up is set! Tom Hanks recently learned that Woody from "Toy Story" has a last name, we talked about what's on the TV today/tonight, the new "Spiderman" trailer dropped yesterday and we also got a look at some of the Spidey popcorn buckets. And if you've got a bunch of money, you can go to the Sphere in Vegas to see "Rocky Horror Picture Show" in the near future. Elsewhere in sports, an Olympic athlete collapses at a recent event, Travis Kelce admits to confusing Warren Buffet with Jimmy Buffet, and the MLB Pride caps continue to be an issue for some people. Cool story about a kid who just found a REALLY ancient Viking sword(not sure if he held it above his head and shouted "I HAVE THE POWER"!!!), and check out this great grandmother who just saw video from her wedding that was recently found. And in today's edition of "Bad News with Happy Music", we had teens in California riding E-bikes through a Walmart, a guy who was experimenting with some homemade fireworks and it didn't go so well, and a guy who's going to prison after squirting semen on unsuspecting women for nearly 30 years.
