Jordan Olds - Two Minutes To Late Night, Blood Vulture

This week we welcome to the pod the multi-talented Jordan Olds. Jordan is currently fronting the foreboding metal band Blood Vulture whose debut album, Die Close, came out last summer. Prior to that he struck YouTube gold as Gwarsenio Hall, the host of the twisted heavy metal themed talk show, Two Minutes to Late Night. Jordan introduces us to his dog Jinni, a 10 year old terrier mix whose notable bad breath never gets in the way of her making new human or canine friends. We get into Jinni's scraps with skunks, foster favorites and the surprising influence behind the title track Die Close. Jordan's shout outs went to the following three great organizations: Rescue Dogs Rock NYC who don’t just save the easy dogs but focus on saving the more difficult, most urgent and critically injured. To date they've saved over 9,300 dogs. For more info on adopting, fostering, volunteering or other ways to contribute to their lifesaving efforts visit rescuedogsrocknyc.org Muddy Paws Rescue whose mission is to build and support a thriving community of dog-loving humans dedicated to ending unnecessary euthanasia of companion dogs through shared learning and education, direct lifesaving, and continuous innovation. To adopt, foster, donate or get involved go to muddypawsrescue.org Your local SPCA which includes Jordan's SPCA Westchester, one of the oldest humane societies in the Unites States today. SPCA Westchester serves more than 5,500 animals a year and is recognized as the largest No-Kill Rescue Center in the County. To adopt, foster, volunteer or utilize their other services go to spcawestchester.org or better yet visit their 27,000-square-foot Animal Rescue Center in Briarcliff Manor, NY.
