Danny and David have classic podcast host chemistry. It’s a hyper-specific podcast focused on the roguelite genre, but they do a good job of covering a wide breadth of the genre, not just the classics. You’re bound to find a new-to-you roguelite even if you’re a big fan of the genre. They have a pretty strong preference for roguelites with limited meta progression. I point this out only to say it’s a very personal tier list they’re creating. While the tier list is the premise of the show, it’s arguably not the point of the show. Regardless of how they rank the game of the week, they are really good at discussing what works and what doesn’t in laymen’s game design terms.

The hosts just have the best rapport and it’s gotten me really interested in the games!
