    What on Earth is going on in the UK? A phrase used too frequently these days, but we're at it again, and this time the people of Britain would like to see a man dressed as a bin beat Nigel Farage in an upcoming by-election. How did we get here? What's behind the bin? And where does this tradition of absurdity in politics come from? We look into the history of satire in Britain as well as other historic silly candidates like Screaming Lord Sutch, the Official Monster Raving Loony Party and the monkey that became the Mayor of Hartlepool.

Ellie and Charlie explore the ways to fight for your rights at work before Trade Unions were legalised, spoiler alert, the consequences could be pretty bad! Though Charlie is delighted to discover she is a Luddite at heart. People risked their lives in the past to go on strike and demand changes that we take for granted today, so we discuss the decline of Trade Unions today and why it's so important to keep them.
