Senators Press 2020 Election Truth After a decade, the white officer who killed Terence Crutcher will finally face a jury for her actions, following an appeals court ruling that Betty Jo Shelby is not entitled to qualified immunity. I will speak with the family attorney and Terence's sister about this significant judicial victory. The Supreme Court Justices have heard arguments regarding a Mississippi death penalty case that raises important issues about race, jury selection, and fairness within the criminal justice system. This follows a 2019 decision in which the Supreme Court overturned another inmate's conviction for similar misconduct involving the same prosecutor and judge. Democratic Senators Richard Blumenthal and Sheldon Whitehouse called out the judicial nominees for failing to admit who won the 2020 presidential election.  The Army has suspended four personnel in connection with an incident involving two Apache helicopters flying low over the Nashville home of Kid Rock. We'll also talk to the authors of a new report that outlines the impact of Trump's policies on Black women in business. Nick Cannon Backlash Explodes This week, the Supreme Court will consider the Trump Administration's efforts to end birthright citizenship.  I'll talk to a human rights attorney about the racist arguments from a 1896 Supreme Court case that supported Jim Crow being used to justify nullifying the 14th Amendment. Starting today, you can participate in the largest survey of Black people in American history. The Executive Director of the Black Futures Lab and the Black to the Future Action Fund will join us later to share more about the Black Census. Nick Cannon and Amber Rose set the internet ablaze, and not for a good reason. Gavin Newsom stupid during today's cabinet meeting.  Newsom's response - classic.  We'll explain how New York Attorney General Letitia James is getting targeted again by the Trump Administration. While mortgage rates were expected to decline this year, the war in Iran has caused them to spike, complicating affordability for American homebuyers. Experts warn that Artificial Intelligence could widen the racial wealth gap. We'll speak with a man who emphasizes that training is key to bridging this gap. I'll have a conversation with the founder and executive director of the Center for Black Literature about the 18th Annual Black Writers Conference. Today, Democrat Leaders are reminding the country why Americans and those protections should take first priority over the Iran War.  Donald "The Con" Trump was in Memphis today, praising a task force he sent into the city to reduce crime, although protesters and Tennessee leaders say the Safe Task Force has hurt thousands and terrorized their communities for months. A Tennessee Pastor and President of the Memphis Interfaith Coalition for Action & Hope will explain how the city's Safe Task Force is impacting the community.  And in tonight's Book Club, Jamie Holmes' book, "The Free and the Dead: The Untold Story of the Black Seminole Chief, the Indigenous Rebel, and  America's Forgotten War which recounts the events surrounding the 1835 attack on the Seminoles in pre-statehood Florida, which was part of the broader Seminole Wars between the United States and the Indigenous tribes of Florida. Joining us next is the creator of The Public Opinion Court and author of Shut Up and Prosecute, Thelma Anderson, to break this down. Black homeownership across the country still lags behind white homeownership, according to a report from Habitat for Humanity. The president of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers joins me to break down their efforts to close that gap. A judge has ruled the green light on a racial bias lawsuit that two Black woman executives have brought against the popular fast food chain, McDonald's. More on that ahead. Next month, the U.S. Supreme Court will hear oral arguments regarding the Trump administration's attempt to end Temporary Protected Status for individuals from both Haiti and Syria. I'll speak with one of the leading Haitian-American activists who is fighting on their behalf.  The head coach of the Tuskegee University men's basketball team has filed a lawsuit after being handcuffed by a police officer during the postgame handshake at Morehouse College in January. Afroman Lawsuit Explodes House Democrats have revealed their plan to force Republicans to hold an up-or-down vote to end the detrimental Trump-Republican shutdown, ensure hardworking TSA agents are paid, and rein in ICE.  Georgia Senator Jon Ossoff got in Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard ass during today's Senate Intelligence Committee hearing. He questioned whether Iran posed an "imminent nuclear threat" before the U.S. and Israel launched joint strikes on Tehran last month and asked why she was in Georgia during January's election office raid.  Young Trump supporters are shifting their allegiance. I spoke with the hosts of The Other Side of Change about why this is happening.  Tennessee State Senator Charlane Oliver criticized Democratic State Representative Bo Mitchell for not seconding Representative Aftyn Behn's request to bring their "Homes Not Hedge Funds" housing bill to the floor. Oliver will join us to explain her fiery comments regarding Mitchell. Seven white Ohio deputies say rapper Afroman used their likenesses without permission in his music videos. The video in question is from Afroman's security camera during a 2022 raid at his home.  The deputies are suing for defamation, saying they have suffered humiliation and death threats because of the videos. The Justice Department is lowering the qualifications needed to become a U.S. Attorney. In Texas, a federal judge has ruled to extend the application deadline for the state's school voucher program after four Muslim parents and three private schools sued state leaders, claiming that Islamic private schools were excluded from participating in the program. We will speak with one of the attorneys involved in the case.
