Feels like listening to the Glass Cannon Podcast which is a GOOD THING!
Just started to listen to this podcast after starting an Abomination Vaults game and what instantly struck me was a familiar feeling… it felt like listening to the Glass Cannon Podcast.
The humor and banter between the players and DM, like GCP, is a breath of fresh air in live play podcasts were so many of them these days are just actors pretending to play RPGs.
Keep up the fantastic content guys and looking forward to the end of this campaign and the start of the next one!
Not as entertaining as I hoped
Looking for 2e podcasts to fill time in between GCP eps, this one came up as a rec. Unfortunately I couldn’t get past the cringey internet humor and simpsons “comic book guy” tones from all the players. The episode I listened to started with one of the players awkwardly swearing like it was the first time they have ever been in front of a microphone, followed by brainless “going in dry” sex humor. Definitely skip this one. Alas, my search continues…
Tryhards trying way too hard to be interesting
Their inspirations aren’t hard to detect, but they 100% lack the personalities, aura, and ability to put forth a product that is anywhere close to the podcasts they rip from. Absolutely terrible
