I am loving this podcast, especially the fact that it is so Ned focused. I had read some Hardy Boys growing up, but missed out on reading any Nance. Believe it or not, I first got hooked on Nancy Drew by watching YouTube videos of people playing through the Her Interactive, Nancy Drew video games. I really started to see the appeal of her as a character. It’s also where I learned about our wonderful Ned Nickerson. I really developed a crush on him, and think he and Nancy are great together. In the games Ned and Nancy can chat on the phone and he seems so helpful and supportive of Nancy. He’s the perfect boyfriend: kind, loyal, protective but never patronizing, and it doesn’t hurt that he’s a handsome and hunky college football star either. I also liked how there wasn't any drama between them (until some in the most recent two games that is). It's refreshing to see a positive example of what a loving relationship could be.
Regarding this podcast, you are doing an amazing job. I truly love the casual, delivery. I for one crack up laughing when you say things like, “So Nancy came in and was like, ‘oh f***!’” Haha. The fact that it’s uncharacteristic of her to talk like that, makes it that much sillier to hear. Keep up the good work!
