Simplicity of the Gospel

Bro. Ron Dunn made the Gospel so easy to understand in his preaching. Preachers these days have tried to make the Gospel today harder than it is to understand ,To make you think you need a college degree. To understand it. Ron Dunn always preached so simple. Enough to make you think why didn't I think of that.

A Blessing

My sister sent me a copy of a message by Bro Dunn called "Surprise, It's God". I found that to be what I needed to hear during a hard time in my life. I am pleased to find these podcasts and am looking forward to listening to these sermons.

The world renowned Biblical commentator John Phillips once said that Ron Dunn was "the greatest preacher in America." He preached alongside of such godly preachers as Charles Stanley, Adrian Rogers (one of his best friends), Stephen Olford, John Stott, Leonard Ravenhill, J.I. Packer, W.A. Criswell, John MacArthur, Jerry Vines, Manley Beasley, and R.C. Sproul. Ron Dunn was one of the most realistic preachers in American history. He walked through the valley of the shadow of death and yet preached to saints all over the world from out of the valley; you fell his pain and God’s sustaining hand so intimately. His stories were saturated with truth and clarity. He, like the famous Puritan Thomas Watson, painted word pictures in his preaching and writing which helped to better grasp the great doctrines of God. Of all great and godly preachers this nation has known, none deserves to be remembered and heard afresh more than Ron Dunn. These podcasts are long overdue!
