    It's getting hot in here or will better heads prevail? Sun/Mars Conjunction!

    Here we are at the Scorpio New Moon energy of Monday (11/13) and you may just be starting to feel the tension ease up. The Sun and Moon meeting up in the sign of deep transformation and change both were opposing Uranus who is in Taurus which sits across the sign of Scorpio. This is a powerful New Moon to seed that which lies deep in your core desires and passions. This is a great time to write down your intentions and bury them in the earth. We just had Mercury move into the sign of Sagittarius on November 10th and while Sagittarius can have a more jovial approach to its energy for Mercury who loves the details this can be a challenging journey. Mercury is in its opposite home sign of Gemini while it is in Sagittarius which means it is the farthest from its comfort zone. So, pay attention to the themes that may emerge during this transit as you may have them revisit you next month once Mercury goes retrograde. I will have much more on this timeline in the overview of December. We are approaching the big meetup/conjunction between the Sun, the ruler of our Universe, and Mars, planet of war, courage, and action. This transit takes place on Saturday, Nov. 18th. This is a good day to take a social media break. It is also good to remember to breathe before reacting (Mars) to anything that comes at you the wrong way. The Sun rules over leaders of all kinds so on a global scale we will see how this energy wants to reveal itself. This is a good day to move the energy that you may feel. Mars likes to be active so stay grounded in any physical activity and you may find that to be a good way to express and experience this energy. There is a favorable Trine that takes place between the Sun and Neptune and Mars and Neptune on Thursday (11/17). Allow your daydreams to enlighten you and see where it can lead. The Sun will move into the fire sign of Sagittarius on Wednesday (11/22) and Mars will follow on Friday (11/24). There will be more on Sagittarius season in the next episode that will cover the Full Moon in Gemini on November 27th. As I have just crossed the threshold of 2 years with this podcast I want to thank you all for tuning in each episode and supporting both this podcast and my journey.     Is there harmony to be found in the Eclipse portal?

    We are between eclipses, having just had the solar eclipse on the 14th and working with that energy as we wait for the lunar eclipse on the 28th. We have a Sun/Mercury conjunction taking place on October 20th followed by Pluto in Capricorn making a tense square to Mercury on the 20th and then a square to the Sun on the 21st.     October Cosmic Snapshot!

    Welcome to the first full month of Autumn! This is a short episode of dates for the cosmic events taking place this month. We are in Eclipse season now as we will have the Solar eclipse New Moon in Libra on Oct. 14th and the last Taurus Full Moon partial Lunar eclipse on Oct. 28th. We have all the personal planets (Venus, Mercury, Mars) on the move this month. One of the biggest moves takes place the end of this week, on Sunday, October 8th, when Venus, who has spent 4 months in Leo, including a retrograde will move into the sign of Virgo. This is good news for the fixed signs, especially Taurus and Leo where we had a summers worth of squares that took place between Venus in Leo and Jupiter and Uranus in Taurus. We will also have the final square between Pluto in Capricorn and Mars who is in Libra taking place right around the same time that Venus changes signs. We will have Pluto going direct in Capricorn beginning on October 10th, and Mercury moves into Libra on October 4th, while Mars will take up its stay in Scorpio, a sign it co-rules, beginning on Oct. 12th.     It's Harvest Time, with Trines to help!

    We are nearing the end of the long square that has been taking place between Venus in Leo, now direct, with Jupiter in Taurus, now retrograde. The final exact square between these two planets took place on Sunday, September 17th. Venus and Jupiter have been in a tight orb of 1 to 2 degrees of each other since mid-August. We have another week of this tight orb but have cleared this last square the two planets will begin to move away from each other. If this energy has been challenging in any way, you will begin to start feeling the difference very soon. The Sun is finishing up its journey in Virgo and has its last two aspects to make this week. The Sun in Virgo will oppose Neptune in Pisces on September 19th. This may create delays or confusion in plans or goals that you truly want, or feel are meant to be but fear not because once we get to Thursday, we begin a long weekend of supportive energy in the form of Trines. A Trine is when two planets are engaged with each other in a way that is meant to be supportive of each other and thereby of anything we here on earth may be trying to accomplish or manifest. A trine is when two planets share the same element (fire, earth, air, water). It is during a trine when things can seem synchronistic in nature. We begin this favorable energy on Thursday, September 21st with the Sun in Virgo (earth) having a trine with Pluto in Capricorn (earth). In this case we are in a position to bring forth something from within that is capable of moving us forward and helping us evolve toward a true purpose we have. The Sun will then enter the Cardinal (initiates) sign of Libra on September 23rd and the season of Autumn will begin. The Sun in Libra will set about creating harmony and balance in our lives and will want to do this through partnerships. Libra is an air sign and is the second sign ruled by Venus who is currently moving direct in Leo (ruled by the Sun). On this same day we will have Venus having her final trine with Chiron (shamanic healer) traveling in Aries. Venus and Chiron have met up three times since Venus entered the sign of Leo back in June. The previous dates are June 29th and August 14th. What healing gift have you received from there meetups? On Sunday, September 24th we will have the Sun in Libra make a trine with the Moon in Aquarius. We do need to watch out for an opposition between Mars in Libra and Chiron in Aries this day as well as a Quincunx (discord/adjustment) between the Sun in Libra and Saturn in Pisces but if we can remain positive we will wrap us this weekend on Monday, September 25th with the final trine between Mercury in its home sign of Virgo meeting up for its last trine with Jupiter who is retrograde in Taurus. Mercury is moving direct again but still in its shadow zone until the end of this month. But Mercury is moving faster now and will be helpful in organizing any ideas that may present itself to us during this trine. Be on the lookout for opportunities that could come out of nowhere. We are building energy now since the Virgo New Moon on September 15th as we get ready for the Harvest Full Moon on September 29th. This will be the last Supermoon for this year. I will have more on this Full Moon in the next episode but there are a few tidbits to be aware of in this episode. Thank you for your support.     What??? It's September!

    Welcome to September! Venus is direct in Leo as of September 3rd! Jupiter is retrograde in Taurus as of September 4th. We have the Sun making a favorable trine to Jupiter, Uranus, and Pluto. Mercury is making a trine to Jupiter on Sept. 4th and Sept. 25th. Venus has her last square to Jupiter and Uranus. This is a month of wrapping up things we may have been dealing with all summer. We have one more supermoon at the end of this month. This episode gives dates and details to what the planets are trying to accomplish this month.     Virgo Rises with Mercury Retrograde!

    We are in the last month of summer! The sun is finishing up his last hours in his home sign of Leo ready to move into Virgo on Aug. 23rd. The Sun will be sharing space with Mercury already in Virgo, and just like Venus did back on July 22nd, Mercury will go retrograde on the same day as the Sun moves into Virgo. Happy Birthday to all the children of Virgo. And Happy Solar New Year! Before we get to Virgo season, we have a few aspects that come on the day before, Aug. 22nd. We will have Mars in Virgo making an opposition to Neptune retrograde in Pisces. Mars is our planet of action, courage, and aggression while Neptune is our planet of faith, spirituality, and illusion. This aspect could find you powering through to get something done or finding ways to get out of working on something that you don't have the bandwidth for at this time. Also, be mindful of unexpected accidents as Mars can push too hard for what it wants, and Neptune will be there to show us our humanness in that kind of situation. The other aspect taking place on Aug. 22nd is the second of three squares between the benefic planets of Venus and Jupiter. Venus is still retrograde in Leo while Jupiter has slowed considerably as he prepares to go retrograde on Sept. 4th. These two planets will be within 3 degrees of each other for the next month which means that this conversation between Venus, the planet that rules over love, money, and pleasure and Jupiter, the planet that rules over good fortune, optimism, and wisdom is asking us to take stock of who, how, and what we love and how that embodies our values. Mars will have its last aspect in Virgo with the planet Pluto, who is retrograde and currently back in Capricorn. They will be having a trine, which is a favorable aspect. And both Mars and Pluto get along with each other unlike Mars and Neptune. This trine that Mars and Pluto, the planet of regeneration, power, and rebirth will have may ask that you take some kind of courageous act that will help shift or end something in your life in order to create something new. And with this transit taking place during so many planetary retrogrades this end/beginning may look very different than you would have imagined. Mars will be moving into Libra on Aug. 27th. Libra is opposite the sign of Aries, which is Mars's home sign. In Libra Mars will be in its detriment which means that it will take possibly more of an effort for Mars to achieve what it wants to go after in the sign of harmony, Libra. Uranus, the planet of surprise, revelation, and revolution will be going retrograde on Aug. 28th in the sign of Taurus. As we get to the last week of this month, we are approaching a Blue Moon on the 30th which is the second Full Moon of this month taking place in Pisces.     Shining Bright or Lost in Light/Venus & the Sun

    This is an extended episode which covers the peak or heart of Venus retrograde in Leo having her conjunction with the Sun. This conjunction is exact on Sunday, 8/13/23 at 7:16AM (EDT) at 20 degrees of Leo. You will still be feeling this conjunction as we approach the Leo New Moon on 8/16/23 at 5:38AM which takes place at 23 degrees of Leo. Venus retrograde means she is closest to the Earth and moving very slowly. This conjunction will be when Venus crosses in front of the Sun between Earth and the Sun. We are unable to see Venus in the sky right now because of how close she is to the Sun's Light. Venus is in shadow at this time, and we will not see her again until September around the 11th in the morning sky. As Venus travels as a morning star, you need to rise before the Sun to see her. In this episode I give a few suggestions on how to work with Venus and the Sun during this conjunction. If you can it will be beneficial to get outside during the next few days and take a moment facing the Sun with your eyes closed and put your intentions out to Venus. The New Moon in Leo follows on Wednesday, 8/16 at 23 degrees and this is when the Moon will join the conversation and will want to have us express ourselves from the heart. This will be a good time for a vision board or meditation. The Moon, Sun, and Venus want us to connect with them through our heart space and use creativity in some form as a way to work with them with our intentions. Uranus in Taurus, planet of surprises, sudden change, and revelation will be part of this conversation during this New Moon. The Sun will square with Uranus on Aug. 15th and the Moon will have its square with Uranus on Aug. 16th. While Venus already had her 2nd square with Uranus on Aug. 9th. What is Uranus trying to shake up or change in your life? How can the Sun, Moon, and/or Venus help you understand what is needed in order to embrace the change Uranus is bringing? The Moon in Leo will also have a square with Jupiter in Taurus on Aug. 15th. Jupiter wants to help us expand our lives and the Moon could add a feeling of being able to do anything, so just be careful that you don't get impractical during this time. This episode also gives insight on the Sun and Venus in Leo having a trine with Chiron who is retrograde in Aries. What healing can Chiron add to any heartache you may still have pain/wounds from? These trines, which are favorable aspects, take place during the Sun/Venus conjunction. I wrap up this episode with a discussion on Mercury in it's home sign of Virgo. Mercury is in shadow, since Aug. 3rd as he is getting ready to go retrograde on Aug. 23rd. Mercury, our planet of communication, will have three trines to Jupiter, our planet of growth, who is in Taurus. Mercury is all about the details, especially while in his home sign of Virgo while Jupiter would be wanting to focus on the big picture. We just had the first trine on Aug. 9th. You can find the additional dates for these trines in this episode. How can Mercury help Jupiter? What details can Mercury provide for Jupiter that will assist in the big picture?
