Welcome RPG Ramblings with Jeff Jones. This a quasi–weekly show exploring the various details of the TableTop RPG hobby through discussions with interesting people.

Today, Matt Thompson of Critical Hit Parader joins me. Matt has found a creative niche lying at the intersection of RPGs and his love for music. We all know that those two great tastes taste great together, but it took a catalyst to make that happen. Matt is that catalyst. Warning alert, this is a very ramble-y episode full of music discussion and sporadic doses of RPG musings.

The stadium is filled and our guitars are tuned. Sisters and brothers, it is time to get rambling.

Welcome RPG Ramblings with Jeff Jones. This a semi–weekly show exploring the various details of the TableTop RPG hobby through discussions with interesting people.

Today, Megan Goins joins me to discuss an upcoming Kickstarter project that she is doing with her friend, Terry Azamber. This is a solo journaling game called Terra Arcis. The game  places a player takes the role of a person entering the land of the fey to find their lost brother. It is a race against time and the devious denizens of the fey’s twisted world.  Besides writing prompts the game features a number of interesting mechanics.
In typical Rambler fashion we cover a number of topics including AI’s impact on teaching, the challenges of marketing, and how the fundamentals of writing a good story can inform good game design.

There is more, so listen to find out. Sisters and brothers, it is time to get rambling.
